Slower = Better
All Killers with a reduced movement speed are top tier:
Huntress, Hag, Spirit, Nurse
The only Killer who has had reduced MS and wasn't top tier was Legion, and even then the Survivors had to brute force his power through gen rush.
I didn't count Myers cuz he very quickly gets 115% MS and stays there. T1 Myers more like doc using his shock.
Not only that, but the only top tier 115% Killer is hillbilly.
Thus we should want more 110% Killer's who are guaranteed to have good powers that aren't just M1 Killers.

Or instead of more killers, why not improve the ones that we have so they become more viable choices? It'd not even hurt the game in any way, as killer variety would go up, thus hopefully ending the stale as ######### meta.

@se05239 Not my decision to make. Since BHVR IS making more Killers whether we want them to or not I may as well request another 110% Killer.
3 -
Well aware, dude. I am just dropping my opinion in the matter.
5 -
They are not slow since they have powers to allow them to move or hit quickly over a long distance. But yeah I get what you are thinking.
0 -
Huntress doesn't. Still better than at least 70% of Killers.
0 -
Which part of "or hit" over a long distance you didn't understood?
3 -
Probably the part where you don't explain why that makes her not slow.
2 -
Anyways that's besides the point regardless.
Nurse is the slowest Killer even if she is "fast". It's a different kind of speed.
0 -
It is not beside the point.
Huntress has a longer reach than most faster killers, that makes her down people faster. She is in a bit of gray area but she is not "slow".
Spirit has a power which maker her move fast. Nurse can also move fast using her power. Hag can teleport and reach longer distance faster than "faster" killer. Do you see a pattern here? Those killers are not slow when used right.

Wow of course. Most the time I play as Freddy, The Spirit, Ghostface, The Doctor ( My Favorites ) I get Gen rushed. Maybe after 1-2 Gens there could be a cool down or harder for other Gens to be found for a short time. I do also agree with Killers that have different advantages against specific groups of survivors and/or maps. Another encouragement for Killers would be more outfits that are “Earnable”. Prestige outfits exclusively for Each individual killer.
I will always be a fan of Dead by Daylight!

@Shaped it's besides the point I'm making. Which is that the 110% Killers are better than 115% Killers.
Burst movement is fundamentally different from continuous movement in a way that favors Burst movement for clearing loops

I am just saying that killers you mentioned are not slow when they use their powers and that speed is important excluding Legion because you can't down people when using Frenzy.
0 -
I also consider huntress fast because of her reach, her hatchets reach survivors fast.
1 -
That's their power. Their actual speed stat is lower than other Killers.
Yes it would be stupid for them to rely on that speed stat, but that's part of why they end up being so good in the first place.

Look, it's not worth arguing. I don't doubt that these Killers can down Survivors quickly and keep up pressure across the map. That's exactly my point in making this thread.
1 -
Fair enough. I made my point.
1 -
I feel we should make the non top tier characters as strong as possible without making it overkill. Killers should always be top tier because they're supposed to be extremely strong.
0 -
If you are getting gen rushed then run overcharge and look around gens a little longer, unless they are at the last gens you would check on your route you should not be able to be completely gen rushed

Reworking killers doesnt bring money to the table.

I get what you're saying and I agree. Generally any killer with a lower base speed has tools to make up for it and that's what we should be hoping for. Killers without effective mobility are generally bad with Huntress being an obvious exception since she doesn't have to travel as far.
1 -
As sad as it is, you've got a point.

In a roundabout way it does. Plenty of killers drop the game because of the huge difficulty curb that only a few killers can alleviate. Doctor is fun but suddenly it's impossible to win with him so you lose interest.
Survivors get bored of facing the same 3 killers constantly. Most stay, plenty leave though after losing interest.
Reworking killers keeps things fresh and new and gives the community renewed interest and greater variety. That keeps players. Players who buy dlc and cosmetics.

Agree so much....... in the long run reworking is the best option
