Freddie’s Lunge

The developers had time to work on Freddy and make him way too overpowered, but they couldn’t take the time to fix his lunge?

    The lunge that is the same distance as every other lunge (barring scenarios with Nurse and T3 Myers)?

    What did you want them to fix?

    I don't know what is different about his lunge than any other killer, but it definitely feels like some hits are a bit of a stretch and questionable.

    You remind me of that journalist who made a Killer tier list saying Spirit was the best one of all because she had a katana and just that alone, saying that she had a longer lunge.

    He is shorter so the lunge looks like it goes a mile I am pretty sure. Pretty sure it's just a trick on the eyes.

    Maybe it’s just hit-boxes that are broken, just always seems like Freddy lunges really far

    Meanwhile, I'm being chased by Spirit who looks much closer to me that that Freddy to you and misses the hit:

    All lunges are the same unless an ability alters it, his weapon is small as it's a little glove thing. Respect the hit box, not the weapon.

    Also, latency. It's not a freddy thing. There's times where you I'm a survivor and the killer hits me when I'm far. The game literally hiccups and drags me to the window. Because this isn't dedicated servers. Killers receive information slower than they give it. Things like window distance, 360s, etc killers are behind on in general. Many times I was behind a killer and got hit, but the animation fixed itself but it looks awkward. That's why when survivors vault, if on the survivors screen both feet are on the floor it's safe. When you play killer, you can hit the pallet and miss the survivor while it seems like they are halfway in the pallet vault, but they are at the end of the animation on their screen. Also one of the reasons why dead hard fails and you get exhausted but dh doesn't do anything. Dh and killer hits activate at the same time which is what dh is for, but because killer gives info first it's considered a fail.

    Also, spirits sword is longer than her hitbox, glad devs are looking into this because it got really bad after the legion patch,being dragged back to a window, etc. I want to host a dead by daylight tournament but I can't host one now in good faith due to connection and hitboxes.

    A. He's not OP. It's not even a question of Git Gud, but one of 'learn to adapt'

    B. His lunge is the exact same length as every other killer.

    C. The devs actually said they were messing with hitboxes, I'm gonna assume they screwed something up there.
