Reduce toxicity, few ideas
After every games, people are so toxic, insulting to killers, and killers back....Too many topics, spamming profiles of players...But I think, devs can easily find solution how to reduce it or punish it but they dont do it, why ?
----------------
1.We need cooldowns for DC like in CS GO if u know what I mean, ok:you disconnect-you lose BP and ban for searching,15min-30min-1hr, etc...
2.Disable chat after game or maybe just replace it with commands like Good Game, Good killer/survivors,... etc :D Chat on start is ok, I think.
3.Quick spamming ctrl:Cooldown 1-2 sec ??? Same for killers. It dont destroy gameplay(Maybe), and it can reduce stupid tbag bully
And most hated plays from killer
(Camping hook)
4.Camp punish/meter? If he stay close to hook and watching hook, his aura will be shown to all survivos. Camp meter will go up (max100%) and survivors will se him until it dont go back to 0%( aura can be visible depend how high is %)......I know ingame is perk for showing killer aura, but its waste of slot and nobody using it. In SWF team can give info but in random games it is so hated and in end of the match is chat in BIG WAR. (mtfkr camper)... :)))
+Maybe remove action for killer: He cant catch survivor if he helping from the hook. This action is like support for camping killer- he can camp and catch next survivors what wants help. Especially 80% mine random games are like: we are last 2, killer just stay close to hook and I cannnot do anything. Atleast I want help somehow, not just run to hatch.
Main job of killer is find and kill people, not ruining game like this...No BP, no progress and people gets mad.
Here are few things what I can see, why
people are more toxic. Is it good ideas or ?
(My english isnt perfect dont bully me.)

- Good suggestion. Suggested many times before. 1 free DC per day because sometimes life happens.
- I'd not mind the removal of the end-game chat. I have it disabled anyway.
- It'd not solve anything.
- Even if the survivor would last indefinitely if the killer was camping, there would still be killers camping. Its 85% of the time a mentality. What you could do, instead of adding punishment that'd not solve anything, is to PROMOTE AND REWARD the killer for LEAVING the hook and go hunting. Carrots and sticks.

Cooldowns for DCs are one of the things the devs said might be implemented with the dedicated server launch.
End game chat is fine. If people are salty, drink their tears. If people insult you, you get to report them for harassment.
If you think tbagging is bullying rather than a fun, nifty way survivors actually slow themselves down ever so slightly so you can down them faster, you've got some stuff to learn.
Emblems are already hurt by camping. Punishment doesn't deter these people.
And removing the ability to grab from the hook isn't good, chief. Kamikaze hook dives are already a problem, they'd just triple overnight.

Problem is toxicity comes from the people itself is in no way related to the game.
Gameplay itself works as intended with both survivors tbagging and waiting retardedly in front of the exit till the last seconds to laugh at the killer when he shows up as well as with the killers camping or with none of them.
There are no rules anywhere that forbbid anything like that, its all made up by players who rant to the other players just because they dont play the way you like.
Survivors job is to escape no matter how they do and killer's job is to kill survivors and thats it.
In the end is just winning or losing, you already know that from the very moment you play this game.
Just remember this, you cannot control how others behave, but you can totally control the way you behave.
The solution is not just adding restrictions to people until they cant enjoy themselves anymore nor spaming reports on them cuz thats the reason game admins on most games dont take them seriously cuz from 1000 reports they recieve only 50 are regarding actual rulebreakers who explioit game bugs or are using hacks and the other 950 reports are just salty kids ranting at players who got legally caugh, hooked and were not allowed to escape.
The best you can do to pacify the player toxicity its just rewarding people who show a mature and respectful behavior. How to do so? well we already got that useless thumbs up button, we can make that useful by building up an actual honorable player system where players who recieve a lot of thumbs up are awarded extra blood points at the end of each game or even shards at the end of each month when ranks reset.
They can even create a new coin that its exclusively awarded to people who reach the highest honor ranking each month that can be used to purchase exclusive cosmetics on the shop that only the best behaved players can obtain.
That would a better starting point to control the toxicity on this game.
As for avoiding the message spamming and harrasment (im not sure hows that on PC cuz Im an xbox player) we could just have the game stop letting the survivors get the Killer Gamertag/Steam ID and viceversa, theres no really need for that in the first place.
For reporting a player that is actually cheating they could just add a button to do so, game still knows who is playing and an automated report should be sent to the game admins as soon as you hit that.

1. I think a CD on queue for DCing is a good idea. it would forcibly make you cool yourself down after a possible ragequit. I typically find if I'm having a bad time in one role I switch to the other so maybe a role specific cooldown. A -2 pip prevention once a day could be okay too. Yea it would be used to prevent a loss but if people have that they might be less toxic if they're competitive.
2. I'm on xbox so postgame chat is actually mid and post game hatemail from survivors. Only twice have I gotten a gg wp or anything like that I have gotten sorry's from killers for playing with a saccing 3man or getting tunneled. I'm not sure completely shutting out the ability to send messages or know the oppositions gamertag/profile is a good idea.
3. tbagging is BMing and toxic but it's in every game. sometimes it gives the killers a chance sometimes when done correctly cant be taken advantage of by killer. usually it's a good excuse to tunnel someone aside from tunneling being a viable strategy in and of itself.
4. my definition of camping is staying within range of hitting the unhooked or hooked survivor at all times. if I walk 20 meters away and someone unhooks and I turn around to get them that's not camping that's a survivor farming their teammate. with that said killers lose rank points for staying within range of hooked survivor which isnt always avoidable. like I often spot a survivor hiding when I hook and have to patrol a little bit but leave anyway if I cant find them knowing they're about to unhook. camping is hated because it ruins one survivors experience which can happen to anybody in any pvp game. in this game camping a single survivor is a bad strat. I think if you play survivor and know the killer is camping take advantage of it and complete all the gens and suck it up and accept that someone will die. only certain groups with specific items and perks should attempt unhooking. like flashlight borrowed time insta heals adrenaline which applies if u unhook after all gens are done. sometimes camping is a viable strat. like one game I had hex ruin in killer hut with 2 survivors hooked in the basement underneath attempting to cleanse it. at that point it would be a bad strat to just leave it alone. because like u said it is the killers objective to kill. the other time it might be viable is if you run into a super altruistic group where they'll give u hits trying to unhook. this is also where noed can be good.
removing the interrupt feature for unhooking would be bad. it is often easily baited out anyway but if say like many killers they are not camping but instead spot a surv or scratch marks heading towards the hooked. they can get an interrupt in possibly because the unhooker wasnt stealthy enough or tried kamikaziing.
the job of a killer is to kill which essentially ruins the game for whoever he kills. to sum up both roles of this game, the roles are ruin to the game for the opposing side. still possible for both sides to have fun tho.
