Reinstate the sounds Survivors made

A million years ago Survivors made more noise and it was easier to locate them. Now you have to have the volume at the absolute max level and have 5.1 or 7.1 surround sound headphones just to be able to slightly, ever so slightly, hear a breath or a footstep.

Can you guys please revert the sounds and make it easier to locate Survivors?

why would they change something they attempted to do on the sly as a shadow nerf and then f!@#$% it up royaly making them silent and then pretend to put them back but everyone knows they didn't.....

they want survivors to be silent so they can get away after being hit.

I wish that they would.. I'm fairly new to the game... only about 5 months in the game and I never got to witness the old sounds I came in when the killer was deff to survivors... now that we actually have some noise I can hear them when I first heard the footsteps I was soo happy :)

I can't hear resting breathing very well, but footsteps are incredibly noticeable. Dunno what's wrong with your ears if you can't hear the footsteps, especially in houses.

@snozer Survivors are loud af when they're injured. If you can't hear them, you're not close enough or they're using Iron Will.

And it was so obvious they put it back. Half of the game was louder after that patch because it affected more than just survivor noises.

They made it much harder to hear breathing, you need an expensive headset to properly play Killer, i can't imagine what it would be like without one

I don't think a better headset helps when the killer's breathing drowns it out. Doc and Peppa Pig both sound like survivors breathing.

That's true i guess, on those Killers you would no doubt have issues finding survivors, not Doc though at least

The only breathing I hear is the breathing of the killer, maybe I could turn up the volume to hear it, but then the chase music would deafen me

I also noticed that cleansing totems is now completely silent until the totem breaks.

I really miss this as well, it made using stridor more fun and actually useful. Not nearly what it used to be.

It's only silent for male characters, and it has been addressed in the PTB. (Bug fix.)

Yeah, as cool as the killer's breathing is, it's pretty unhelpful. That and the killer's own steps in the grass. Makes me paranoid that people are beside me.
