Leather Face Rework
Prologue
Leather Face is referred as the MOST weakest killer in the game since he is just a knock off version of Billy. While he can be a threat sometimes, this relies on rare situations to occur, and those rare situations such as camping aren't healthy for the game.
Therefore, I made a Rework for our loving, face wearing friend, so he can have big dreams of becoming a true killer!

This Rework is far from perfect, so it isn't my final product of what should happen to Leather Face. Values can always be changed later on to fit the balance of the game, so I really encourage you, the community, to help me make this Rework amazing! :)
Leather Face Rework
New Mechanic: Scrap
Leather Face will now have a red meter around his power icon that indicates how much Scrap he has. Without add-ons, Leather Face can carry a maximum of 100 Scrap, and he gains 20 Scrap every minute Passively.
Bubba's Chainsaw Addition: Destruction
Bubba's Chainsaw is now more lethal to not only survivors, but Vaults found in the Trial. Without add-ons, running into a Vault during your Chainsaw Swing will destroy it for 2 minutes until it automatically repaired by the Entity. This creates a gap where both the killer and survivor can run through without getting slowed by the vaulting animation.
Destroying Vaults and Dropped Pallets will give Leather Face 20 Scrap.
New Mechanic: Barbed Wire
Without add-ons, when Leather Face has 50 Scrap, he can trap Vaults with Barbed Wire. This makes the Vault dangerous to vault for survivors, but not dangerous to Leather Face.
Without add-ons, vaulting a trapped vault will cause healthy survivors to become injured, and injured survivors will stumble out the window as they fall into the ground. This makes vaulting a trapped Vault dangerous as you're left in a very vulnerable state, which gives Leather Face the ability to gain some ground on you.
New Mechanic: Tripwire
Without add-ons, when Leather Face has 25 Scrap, he can trap Pallets with Tripwire. This makes the Pallet very dangerous to survivors as they won't be able to get away from Leather Face.
Without add-ons, trapping a Pallet with Tripwire will cause running survivors to fall into the ground for 2 seconds, while walking survivors suffer from a 10% hindrance effect until they leave the affected area.
Survivor Counterplay: Disarming Traps
Survivors will often find themselves struggling to combat Leather Face's traps. Therefore, without add-ons, they will have the ability to Disarm traps in 16 seconds, and making them completely harmless to survivors. Also, without add-ons, each time the same trap is used by a survivor, it will automatically fill its own Disarm meter by 25% until it Disarms itself.
Leather Face can pick up Disarmed traps, and convert them into 10 Scrap.
Reworked Add-ons
Add-ons can affect many things about Leather Face's power, such as:
- Increase Passive Scrap gain
- Increase Scrap gained from destroying Vaults and Pallets
- Increase maximum Scrap capacity
- Reducing Scap cost to build traps
- Reducing Bubba's Chainsaw charge time
- Longer Disarm time
Ultra Rare Add-ons
Award-Winning Chill
After passing through one of your traps, gain a considerable haste effect for 3 seconds.
Speed Limiter Plus
Successful Chainsaw hits on survivors deal one state of damage instead of inflicting the dying status.
You get an infinite supply of Scrap for the remainder of the Trial.

Effectively making our leather boi dangerous to loop with his own trapped areas forming him into his own killer rather than a bootleg hillbilly.
Hopefully the devs take some notes from you. I love to see this actually get inputed into the game

idk about the traps, they seem pretty repetitive since most killers already have this, also the destruction idea isn't bad and i like it, although i think you should also do something to prevent him from being a god camper. like maybe easier chainsaw to control but can only down 1 person? also maybe add ons to keep vaults destroyed longer would be nice. but still great suggestions

It's an interesting approach. But i think the numbers are a bit too high.

I like the idea, but the scrap seems a bit convoluted, having it just be like 1 scrap for a trap is probably better with like 1 charge that can be upgraded, or so, otherwise he'd far surpass the trapper in every respect.
He should have to spend time setting up, I think the vault destroying is a unique idea and would give him more flavour than the other killers, similliar to freddy's new rework.
