Bloodlust Change
Have the bloodlust tiers also affect the speed of vaulting. Loops are too long because survivors constantly jump through jungle gyms, killer shack, T walls, etc. Yes I know as a killer you should run around instead of vaulting windows, but sometimes you are not given a choice but to vault a window (for example, the window loop underneath one of the swamp buildings found in the Grim Pantry variation). Also, by adding this change it will give killers opportunity to vault through jungle gym and t-wall windows to cut survivors off from the loop.

Or, and this is just me brainstorming here, you could take the time to learn how to run each tile efficiently and effectively as a killer and improve your overall game play. I believe ScottJund and OhTofu both have videos detailing the various tiles.

I don't think this is the way. (also T3 Myers would be insane)
I would just wait till the map rebalances.

With that being said, there are still a lot of loops where this isn't the case. and so the OPs change would be beneficial.
3 -
map rebalances can take months or even years. why not add the changes now as a temporary fix and then revert them once maps are fixed?

OP should just learn how to run the Ironworks of Misery window more efficiently 4Head
In all seriousness, crutchlust should go along with the dumb loops that require it.

Obv have a max limit. I don't want people abusing this with Bamboozle.

I know how the loops work and you need more than bloodlust to combat that loop. Even then, once the survivor has ran that course you lose about 2.5 minutes or more and that's if only one survivor loops you there. You seem to forget that there are multiple survivors with multiple chances to loop you there on top of that you have to defend objectives. By then the survivors would have done multiple generators. Anyways, these loops are getting ridiculous. I was playing as Freddy, Doc, Pig and Myers and in all cases I was only able to end chases much quicker when survivors would run to places of the map that I already broke pallets in and even then my gens would get done with or without ruin active (red ranks btw). As a killer, you shouldn't need to have ruin on all your loadouts (that's the case unfortunately) but also you shouldn't need a perk like Bamboozle or NOED to save you from long chases.

I'm sorry but i completly disagree with you. Bloodlust has been nerf some time ago because is was broken af xD.
For catch a survivor you need use your brain moon walk, double / triple back, fake vault etc.. The goal is to catch survivor using your brain no abusing bloodlust.
If i can tell you an advice don't chase the same survivor all the game. Chase him after he waste 3-4 pallets just leave him (because he will found another spot). The next survivor you'll find will DON'T have pallet cause de the first survivor has detroy them.
This is call "DeadZone".
I guess your problem is you continue ta chasing the same survivor even if he create a deadzone (because after create dead zone he run out and you, you just follow him)...
I understand your frustation but expecting your win on blodlust is not a good idea :c

That's a great strategy, but the one flaw is that you are not creating map pressure with that strategy until after the survivors loop you half the game. I rather attack first and start applying pressure by hooking survivors and not letting them go easily. The only way I let go of a survivor is if they are the ones that are trying to be toxic to you by t-bagging and blatantly getting your attention so that others can do gens and the other would be if the survivor goes towards a super long loop.

- You can just quote me or just post a reply here and I will be notified.
- You need to do better with your sarcasms because the way you worded seem like it was a serious suggestion by you
- Don't say, "in all seriousness" and then come back and say, "it was sarcasm"
- Go to the general section if you want less serious topics. I am trying to start an actual conversation with the community to solve a serious issue about long chases.

For map pressure I slug, I guess is fair cause I don't have knock out. And I've good winrate cause I training my mind game a lot.
I'm rank 3 on killer and I don't see too many "toxic" survivor is very rarely. When a survivor tbag me I just say yes with my head I though that funny xd. I'm not stupid wjeba survivor click with that flash I know he want my attention but I just ignoring him.
I know is frustrating but for me a good mind game is the best thing :c
But I completely understand your point of view I've the same some times ago

bloodlust should be removed periodt

Buffing bloodlust isn't the right solution, it's the broken loops like in Ironworks of Misery that should be tackled. Rebalance those maps so you wouldn't need bloodlust to keep up with survivors abusing those loops.

4Head is a pretty obvious indication of sarcasm. And the fact I then go "in all seriousness" makes it even more obvious that I was being sarcastic before and now am being serious. Hence, "seriousness."
It's not complicated lol.

oh no. you don't want to go back to the dark ages where survivors had infinite loops.

I agree that those loops are broken and should be fixed, but another concern is the amount of looping you have to do in chases. You have to get looped at least twice to get the survivor to drop the pallet or take a hit and you have to do this repeatedly for every survivor twice or even more (if they have BT, Insta heal or dead hard). These chases are taking too long that you are playing ring around the rosy while the rest of the team gen rush the heck out of you. There is a reason why 90% of killers equip Hex:Ruin.

Could you link me to the video where they show how to run ironworks, coal tower, torment creek more "efficiently" without leaving chase?

OP specifically asks for this change to combat t walls and jungle gyms. He literally only gives one example outside of normal tiles. 4Head

So my point is not valid because OP only gave one example of a god window? Ok. How about telling me how to run Grim Pantry's downstairs window better then or give me a link like I asked in my last comment.

Stop. Just stop. Please try not to derail the topic and keep it civil at least.

Correct me if I am wrong, but from what I understood from your previous comment is that you defend not buffing blood lust because you can efficiently run specific tiles. My problem is that those tiles and t-walls and shack loops are too long and punish killers because survivors gen rush regardless if ruin is active or not.
0 -
I was being sarcastic as those loops can not be run efficiently. The survivor always gets to take the window and the best choice for the killer is to leave chase and go chase someone else that is not around that structure. I have no problem with current jungle gyms or LT walls, only god windows on some maps like the ones I mentioned before.

I believe what you should have responded with was an apology.
You were the one who derailed the topic when you started an argument over nothing simply because you misunderstood my post.
But to top it off, you double down and accuse me of derailing the topic. If you'd bothered to read all of my initial post, you'd notice that I actually had a suggestion and commented on that instead.
Edit: Just noticed the triple post. I love this forum.

Well the thing you might have missed is that most survivors know the game well and have the ability to communicate to their fellow survivor friends so if they find out that you are not willing to chase them at a certain loop then they will signal their friends or learn first hand that if they want to lose you in a chase then they will loop you over there thus, wasting your time. Also, I am glad that you are not having trouble with chases, but others are and I think that's why we need to buff bloodlust or provide a meaningful balance to looping/chases.

Okay, this is the last time I am responding to you. No, I am not going to apologize to you (especially with the way you are behaving) because initially you came in insulting me and then shooting down my opinion and providing no other meaningful alternative. And now, I told you to stop derailing the topic or at least respond with good criticism and I still leave that door open for you to respond with a meaningful alternative to buffing bloodlust, but if you are just going to keep arguing and expect an apology then just leave and go to another forum post because I won't respond and I will report you for derailing the topic and harassing me.

Oh, give me a break.
I actually came in poking fun at the fact someone suggested you should just learn how to run boring windows such as the Grim Pantry one more "efficiently." You then got all defensive and completely mistook obvious sarcasm for a personal attack. Something you seem to refuse to acknowledge. Ironically, I was actually defending your post.
No meaningful alternative? Again proving you don't read what I type. I'll quote it again for you: "Crutchlust should go along with the dumb loops that require it."
Do what you feel like you must. I've set the record straight and that's all that matters to me. We're done here.

Alright! Well back on topic, maybe another alternative to my original suggestion would be to give killers a speed buff to all actions if the killer is unable to get a sacrifice/hooked survivor within a certain time limit.
