Idea for Legion
As he stands, many consider legion bottom of the barrel and for good reason. His power cannot under any circumstance down a player unless they just don't even care about deep wounds (had one just last match, first ever in weeks). Maybe his add-on rework (the buttons) will help, maybe not, but we'll see. For now though, any buff too far will make him nearly as powerful as the nurse and any buff too short will keep him bottom tier.
So my opinion is just a tiny change in how him inflicting deep wounds works. We don't want the old Legion back, but we want the power to feel like it does something other than waste 15 seconds (10 with a friend). Instead of the clock starting outside of his terror radius, why not start it when the chase stops? How about every second of survivor sprinting outside of the chase (or terror radius) drains 0.5 seconds?
Give us something to work with besides "stab 4 times then become the trapper without traps". Thoughts?

That was what Legion was before. Your idea would just be moonwalking Legion 2.0

no no no no and no good day

I didn't say bring back low cd for missed attacks, lower the bar for repeated hits (tunneling), or any such thing. How is what I suggested old Legion?

Why not? Trying to facilitate discussion, not just "yes" or "no".

I'm talking about the moonwalking exploit. You follow the blood without looking at the survivor, cutting off the chase so they start bleeding and fall.

Ahh, yeah that's no bueno. Hadn't thought of that actually. Maybe a sudo M&A then? Make his terror radius about the same as the Huntress' outside of the chase, then standard 32m during? Something along those lines to prevent tunneling but give his power that bit of oomph it needs.

I think you're going the wrong direction with this. Deep Wounds shouldn't down people unless they're being idiots and just. Not mending. Legions design is supposed to force survivors to take time to mend. The time should be lengthened but have skill checks imo. Maybe prevent generator interactions or slow gen progression when deeply wounded.

I actually like that idea a bit more. Maybe also remove the ability to complete mending even if the timer runs out (you start mending with 14 seconds left, takes 15 seconds to mend, you go down without a friend's help [takes 10 seconds with help])

"Many consider Legion the bottom of the barrel"
idk, I hear a lot of people groan when they go up against a Legion but that's just what I witness (I dunno about anyone else). It seems people still don't like facing him even if most people consider him one of the worst killers. Well, why would some hate going against a Legion if he's awful? I guess there are still people out there who lowkey think he's good enough to be a pain of a killer to face.
I personally like Legion as is but I just suck at killer (mainly because I rarely play killer), otherwise I might be fine.

It's not about being good or not, it's that he's annoying to deal with much like the Doctor (the doctor is a better killer, but only mid-tier). Survivors have killers they hate dealing with, but that doesn't mean they're good is the point.
It's also not that he's awful, he's just currently at the bottom of the list as in currently the worst (someone has to be). That's why updates for game balance need to be constant and consistent so no one sits down there for long (Freddy). Though I can see how my OP sounds like I'm calling him terrible, I'm more or less calling him currently the worst but that doesn't mean I'm calling him terrible.
He's fun, my favorite to play currently, and I always get one kill at the very least, but he desperately needs some dev love. I also have another post about ALL M1 killers needing the same kind of love. Some are rare to see, others you just don't see because they're just meh at best.
