The new survivor perks are not good enough
They do things "differently", but that doesn't make them good or useful.
Survs are left with basically the same choices of perks as before.

Rofl. Not really. The Survivors get about 10 Second Chance/Healing/Get off the hook free perks.
Killers only 'Second Chance'? NoED, and Survivors can keep it from ever activating.

You do realise that the increased movement speed is only active when WALKING? The devs aren't so stupid that they would add a perk that makes survivors infinitely faster than killers.

There are only one or two who can be very situationally and very slightly interesting (Babysitter and Fixated). Otherwise, I am very disappointed too.

yeah, thats how the game works. i dont understand why perks arent designed too good at start, so you can tweak them down slowly til perfection. Like theyre now, you just have too rework them hard to get any good use out of them. their design might be nice to have, buts thats all. there needs to be a whole chapter for perk reworks (also on killer side) SOON.

Ok I thought it would be while running, but pallet looping is still a thing. So survs can keep making matches as fun as possible for killers by mindlessly running in circles around a pallet.

I mean, they're alright, all of the perks in this chapter seem to be alright. Not really meta but they're nice. Killer perks are alright too, everything's just that, alright

So survivors should just not waste time and run towards the killer? If you're having trouble with looping just eat the pallet and break it, don't respect/swing through pallets early.

Can see scratchies for more mind game potential. Gets a perk that allows them to do totems then hide in a locker and heal super fast encouraging cleanse and fast healing. Get a perk that allows everyone to see the gen allowing survivors more information and when someone is downed you get info of where everyone is. Get a perk that allows you to heal passively.... Get a perk that allows you to hide the unhooked a perk that pauses the struggle timer. Almost all of these perks are super good imo in fact some are good enough that I might stop running No Mither for one of them.

it's not always a choice, but I haven't ever seen survivors playing stealthy or trying to hide, they all just instantly go for the pallet loops XD

I don't have trouble with pallet looping, it's the fact that looping takes our time away and thus enables gen rushing and the match becomes ######### and boring.

Sound and sight are two different things. You might not see the uses it can have but it does have use.

If a perk is too good at the start it gets obliterated like MoM was.

Inner Strength feels like it could be a good perk. It could also be a fun perk paired with Head On and or DS.

it depends its more like chain food like this : 1st are weakest solo survivors < m1 killers < red rank survivors < high tier killers < 4 SWF < nurse :)

Don't chase them then? You aren't forced to stick to a chase and if someone is taking up too much of your time then you should chase people off gens instead.

Yeah, almost every killer perk is useful, I look at you Monstrous Shrine, Unrelenting, Insidious, Iron Grasp, Unnerving Presence, Predator, Lightborn, Thanatophobia, Stridor, Play With Your Food, Dying Light, Third Seal, Overwhelming Presence, Overcharge, Beast of Prey, Territorial Imperative, Huntress Lullaby, Fire Up, Remember Me, Hangman's Trick, Coulrophobia, Iron Maiden, Corrupt Intervention and Furtive Chase.

But Inner Strength is a pretty cool perk, and probably outshines anything we've gotten since David that isn't named "Mettle of Man". Many of the rest are at least meme-tier, which is about as good as it's going to get.

The TR and scratch marks are 2 completely different things which cannot be compared.

God, the Survivor mains claiming everything is 'Killer sided'.
I bet those types won't be happy until Killers can no longer down Survivors, Survivors move at 2000% move speed, Killers teleport to any dropped pallet to get stunned, get stunned for 10 seconds, and Survivors get to steal all the bloodpoints a Killer has.
And then they will look at the game and go 'Well, Killers can still HIT us, so its clearly still a Killer bias!'

Thanatophobia is good too.
Overcharge and PWYF are great for specific builds. As is Furtive Chase but that's pushing it.
The rest of those are varying degrees of bad tho. Fire up is almost good but the value is barely too small.

Killers have a lot of Good perks with very few Amazing or Useless perks (by comparison)
Survivors have a bunch of Amazing perks and then a ######### ton of Useless perks.

Yes I have to count each exhaustion perk separately since they all count as a separate perk in the total perk count.

Ace in the Hole, Aftercare, Boil Over, Buckle Up, Calm Spirit, Dark Sense, Déjà Vu, Flip-Flop, Hope, Left Behind, Mettle of Man, No Mither, No One Left Behind, Open-Handed, Plunderer's Instinct, Slippery Meat, Sole Survivor, Solidarity, Stake Out (you can always hit greats without it), This Is Not Happening, Technician, Tenacity, Up the Ante, Vigil, We're Gonna Live Forever, Windows of Opportunity

There are currently 65 total survivor perks so 32 good perks.

Make no mistake with your biased opinion. I play both, regularly. Anyone else that has extensive DBD experience will attest the validity of this claim: This game is NOT killer sided. Not only is it not killer sided, but it’s not even close! As a survivor, you can escape with a pip by accomplishing little. A killer, mostly because he’s alone, cannot afford a single mistake.
I’m not talking about bad mind game reads, that’s covered in the name...it’s a mind game. Sometimes right, sometimes wrong, but a good killer will adapt to that survivor’s playstyle as the match progresses.
As for the “If there was a perk to see your TR, would you use it?”...#########!? lol. Firstly, the TR is a RADIUS, no one needs to see it, a radius is a circle with the killer at the epicenter. It’s not difficult to visualize 32 meters from your location.

We actually have a lot of good perks outside of the meta, same for killers. You just need to experiment with perks.

The only problem is that you have to do some bones which apparently IS TO HARD as noed activates

The game develops away from Stealth. Legion is a good example, same for Ghostface. Plague as well, since coughing is not affected by Iron Will.
So Stealth is not the way this game should be played, apparently. Furthermore, Maps get reworked. Look at the Badham-Maps, TONS of unsafe Pallets. You need to get the Stun and run away. If other Maps are reworked like this, it will be much easier for Killers (except they have 200 IQ and think that they need to break every Pallet).

Well, this was expected. I mean, all the strong Survivor Perks are basically from the Base Game + Myers DLC. New Perks are mediocre at best, the last Perk that was somewhat decent which got released was Deliverance, but this is not enough to be Meta. Dont get hyped for Survivor Perks in DLCs, they are not worth the wait.
(Except for MoM of course, but you know...Cash Grab)

As a survivor main, I am perfectly happy with these new perks and I can even finally have a reason to take off adrenaline. Up to this point, taking off adrenaline would've been stupid because no other survivor perks are worth replacing it

The ptb isn't out yet and the numbers aren't even final, all we have is speculation and what the ideas of the perks are we should really not whine about every announcement. Pessimistic, i understand but just saying how good or bad something thats not even out yet is, is just jumping the gun imo.

Clearly you've never used Corrupt Intervention and realized how amazing it is on slow beginning killers such as Trapper. Heck, it's even awesome on high mobility characters. It lasts longer then Ruin and can deny an entire side of the map to every survivor

Overcharge is garbage outside of a very specific Doc build. Period.
Play With Your Food is too niche to be considered useful.
Stridor is worthless unless you are Spirit against 4 Iron Will users.
Thanatophobia is only good on Legion and Plague ( and even on them it isn't amazing ), while the other killers can't get almost any value from it.
Corrupt Intervention is overrated, it just force survivors to spread out and do the other gens.
Maybe you can make a case for Corrupt Intervention, but the other perks are garbage outside of a very specific build.

I know, no offense to the guy because he seemed like he worked hard for this to become a thing but I could barely understand what he was saying. Not his fault of course, it's the accent, just most of the time I couldn't understand what he was saying but I did hear him say Borrowed Time and I was like "Wait, isn't this technically just the opposite of Borrowed Time?"
DS is so strong that you can get farmed by a random, get downed immediately and then left on the ground to rot. What an OP crutch perk.

Ds is so strong that a majority of red rank players use it. It also doesn't help that people jump in lockers so it either forces you to eat ds or leave them to potentially find someone else and now that inner strength exists you have to choose between eating a ds which won't help if they are good at looping or a free heal
