I don't have Ghost Face, someone please explain to me...
... how he does that trick where he pops out of nowhere to pick you up?
What add on is he using? Like he literally pops out of nowhere in front of you as if he uncloaks, there's even a white shimmer as he appears and grabs you.

A bug? Never saw that happening to me. Tho I don't own ghostface so I can't tell for sure.

He just caught you out I'm afraid, no bug. The white shimmer is his shroud deactivating. He has no TR when shrouded and was probably crouched and you didn't spot him

His power he loses his terror radius. And then he can just walk up and pick you off a gen unless you look around. I think that's what you mean

The pop and the white shimmer is his power deactivating when he grabs you. Be more attentive and spot him before he grabs you. He doesn't vanish into thin air, just turns off his TR and stain.

He can crouch, so he is sometimes very difficult to spot. I tested him for a long time after PTB and came to the conclusion, that the reveal mechanic is somehow broken. He has the potential to a top tier killer, but got the same problems as Doc.
Doc can't prevent looping consistently, because his power is unreliable. Ghostface can't instadown consistently, because his power is umreliable.
