Camaraderie Simple Update
As it is right now, the new Steve perk called Camaraderie hurts you more than it helps, it gives Killer info that someone is around the hook, so he could just stay at the hook knowing a survivor is around, or start coming back early.
My simple update idea to make it actually help the survivor on the hook would be - whenever survivor is within 16m of the hooked person using this perk, and he's on the 2nd stage, the timer will not pause immediately and will keep on going as normal whilst the bar is going to flash (as the devs said) for the survivor side. The timer will only pause when there is like 1% health left on the hook.

That's actually perfect, as some killer's would walk away seeing as there's no time to get the save, but that's actually a false sense of hope, as now, with that Camaraderie change, someone saves them beyond the 60th second, and everyone walks away happy, except the killer who camped, but no one wants to see campers happy.

How about we let the perk go live first and not try to make bad faith changes on something you have tested? Why do people keep trying to make hook attempts free even when you're getting a huge amount of extra time to make a save regardless if the killer is there or not. It legit is an anti camp perk on paper and you're trying to change it with out testing it.

People assumed Mettle of Man was going to be OP and break the game..... which it did when it was first announced.
Just by looking at how this perk works as of now, you can already tell that it actually help the camping killer camp more effeciently, and a change is required to make this perk even work the way it's supposed to in the first place.

MoM did break nothing. Killers were just crybabys.

Yeah, my thoughts are similar. Just don’t have the timer stop at all on the killers end. On the survivors screen, you will see it pause (and flash). For killer, they just see it tick all the way down like normal. There’s no reason for the killer to be able to see it pause, it doesn’t make any sense. Like you said, they will either remain at the hook, or get advanced notice to return to the hook. I don’t get it.

Why do i feel this perk is just worthless?
@MegsAreEvil "why the frick you lying! Why you always lying..."

MoM did break nothing. It just gave one ######### health state and a aura read for the killer. theres nothing wrong with this if killer wouldnt be always like crybabies.

Yeah... sure. Because "1 health state" for "just being hit" is super balanced again M1 killers ;)

People need to stop using MoM as an example. Think of something else for once instead of just comparing It to MoM

The effects of the proposed change will be short-lived.
Instead of walking away from the hook when the timer bar/meter is low, they'll wait until the sacrifice animation procs.
Plus, if a survivor has to get close to the hook to trigger the perk then they're also close enough to stop the killer from getting a "Hook Proximity" penalty.
The better function of the perk is to buy more time for gen rushing to punish campers.
