Hag's Traps, Distortion, Decisive Perk Changes

Hello people of the fog,

Today wr start with two new problems:


1.) Remove the camera flip from the traps of The Hag. It is annoying, it does not balance anything and it isn't really "scary" it absolutely destroys Dead Hard.

2.) Distortion perk should not be activated while using Object of Obsession.

In the description stands that it activates IF the killer WOULD see the aura.

So when I look at the killer but he doesn't look at me, the perk should not be activated.

There are also no balancing issues because it works only 3 times AND sometimes you look at him by accident while he does it too.

3.) Decisive should not have a timer, it should work everytime when you are tunneled by the killer, but also after be unhooked.

    1) That is just one of its purposes, thus working as intended.

    2) Sounds like a perfect reason for not running both perks. Working as intended.

    3) Actually Decisive needs adjustment in the opposite direction, than what you state. If the survivor performs any heal, repair, or destroy action, DS should immediately deactivate. If the killer downs another survivor before downing you again, DS should immediately deactivate.

    Nope.

    1. it's one of hag's major strenght, also almost nobody still seems to know how to properly use this;
    2. you lose a token everytime your aura is shown to the killer, no matter what, he might not be looking at you, but your aura is visible;
    3. stupid decision, without any bonds ds would return to his previous states, also from survivors prospective (and you seems to be an average survivor main) "tunneling" is a wide term.

    2.) why not? it would be a very sneaky gameplay

    3.) my idea is that it should be active as long you are in a chase after you got hooked, 50 seconds are too less, because some hunts take more time even you are the tunneled one


    And no, i am not a main survivor, i play this since day one and i have to say that the killers have a 60:40 advantage. This depends on the killer.


    But ok, i hoped that these ideas would be good.

    I don't get your 2nd point. Distortion not working for OoO would only mean they would still get revealed but you still have your tokens for BBQ, etc.

    No no and no. Hag is fine, OoO is already a strong perk no reason nerfs perks that counter it, and that last one is just bias and survivor-sided.

    the problem is, if u play with OoO you cannot use Distortion because it looses tokens by looking at the killer, that is stupid.

    There are only two ways of solving it:


    While playing with OoO, Distortion only counts in other situations like BBQ etc.

    OR

    While playing with OoO, Distortion only counts when the Killer is also seeing you, because you look at him


    Both options are balanced, because the one leaves OoO at the old function, the other makes it stronger for 3 times.

    It is a radar anyways.

    @remember_me88 BHVR purposely coded Distortion to not work well with Object of the Obsession. Using both will make Distortion useless, and that is the point. It’s supposed to be useless when stacked.

    Has a Hag main that's one of the major Hag mechanic and also don't lie everyone get scared.

    Now, you are just coming off as someone who wants to complain, and has no intention of learning how to play the game. Learn the game. Learn the counters. Complaining about balanced mechanics that are specifically designed to work the way that they do, is just sad.

    1. No. Watch where you're stepping and DH when it's safe to do so. Hard to see traps when you look behind you, huh?
    2. Don't use "I want to be seen all the time" perk with "I don't want to be seen" ones.
    3. I have a counter proposal: what if this ability cooled down faster when healed / out of TR?

    No, i don't have to learn this game.

    It seems that you don't play the game so often because I think you do not know some situations where it does not depends on how YOU play but the killer (hag)


    You are hooked. Gates are open. She is a little vit campy. You get unhooked and she is tunneling you, because that is what killers do at the end, i know BUT then I want to use Dead Hard IN A CHASE in FRONT OF THE GATE and the camera flips because there was a trap nearby (No time to look, no time to crouch) my Dead Hard brings me in another direction which I didn't want.

    This happens most of the time when a Hag is Killer.

    Tell me, what would you - the so experienced god - do in this situation?

    1) Working as intended.

    2) Working as intended.

    3) The timer should stay, maybe make it longer in exchange for the perk deactivating if the survivor does any altruistic action. Make it not work on grabs/locker searches.
