Pause Idle Crow Progression While in Terror Radius
Or within 32m of the killer (for those killers whom do not have terror radii).
I hid in a locker as the killer neared my gen. They kicked the gen, checked the wrong locker and began searching the immediate area. After finding nothing, they searched elsewhere still within terror radius of the locker though. They eventually left, and I climbed out of the locker as the terror radius faded away. Before I could even tap the gen, Spine Chill lit up and the terror radius came back. I climbed back into the locker, idle crows showed up, and I was caught.

Maybe you should have done something other than just hiding in a locker in a situation where it was obvious you were in the area?

@starpilotsix I would have if my gen wasn't in the corner of the map with the only exit pathways being open fields.
My point is that I was not idling to idle; I had little choice.

In last months i have hid in a locker only once to directly evade the killer… he had iron maiden… yep, i died.
I hate lockers in all cases except hiding yourself from b&c.

Haha.. no.
If you haven't been moving for at least a minute near a killer, you should be found. Survivors should not be passive in hiding.

Then you got pinned in a situation with no escape potential, which, again, bad play. But there's always escape potential, there's always choices. If there's lockers, there's a wall behind them you can use to block the killer's vision while you sneak away. It might not work, but it's a choice.
If you get crows, it's because you're in one hiding spot for too long. If that's because the killer knows you're there and just doesn't know exactly where, too bad.
Guess what, to get crows, you had to occupy the killer's attention for a minute, looking for you. During that time, the rest of your team was presumably free to do other objectives and make it easier for everyone, including you, to survive. Can't ask for more than that for you engaging in a strategy where you literally do nothing. If you led the killer on a chase that lasted a full minute, you'd have done a pretty good job and you'd have had to use actual skill.
Now, imagine a situation with two players who play just like you, with your 'no crows in range of killer' idea. Killer goes back and forth between two generators, knowing the survivors are there, but not exactly where, they use Spine Chill to hide the moment the killer gets close. Game lasts forever because both of them are too afraid to move and no crows appear.

That is why you use Q&Q and Head On :D

Sorry to break it to you, but iron maiden counters head on, so you need also iron will, to not scream… not mentioning that killer can grab you during the animation (unless they already fixed it).

They did, that's why im suggesting it.
And atleast with Head On vs Iron Maiden you have a chance to outlast those 15 seconds.
