Match making unbalanced?
Recently just jumped back into playing killer (didnt for a while because of a gen bug where you can see survivors blocking gen auras) and had one good match as Trapper where I got 30k. Lowest ive got as a killer rank was 16 and some how I got matched up with rank 12-11 in the next match and so on. Whats the deal? Does one good match dictate the levels or am I missing something?

It's just like that. At rank 12 killer I get rank 4 survivors.

Yeah, I played one game after long time break and I was at 19 rank and killer was 11 rank. It's make unfair cause there other three player are new (20 rank) and someone saying in a postgame chat 'need a refund' but after that all we see some salty answer by killer and make it more uncomfortable to new players and end up with -uninstall and refund.

A friend of mine in the yellow ranks just sent me a screenshots of 3 red rank survivor fully decked with meta perks that sneaked into the lobby by using a brown rank buddy, coincidently also fully decked with meta perks.
How can you call that "matchmaking"?

It was briefly decent, and then it messed itself up and seems to give me a really mixed bag,e ven when all players in the game are solo. I understand SWF messing with it, but we were told that was to go with average rank from a previous patch, and while it DID seem to briefly, it has since seemingly been reverted and I see red rank survivors in a solo environment put up against rank 20s. Literally.

I had a match against a streamer in a 4-man SWF ranks 3, 4, 8, and 20. I went back and watch his saved stream, before the match he was laughing about the rank 20 being vital to get a good match because he wanted to bully a baby survivor.

I had recently a match that had a swf group. I'm rank 11 killer and they had a rank 4 with a rank 17,18 and 16 survivors. I want to play the game but not have one survivor who's great at looping and then three other guys who only run in a straight line. Seems weird. Also, swf is just awful and very unfair to play against if they are coordinated. I'll stomp them all game and then once they hit the exit its nothing but annoying tea bagging like saying haha you suck. The toxicity of this game is getting to me.

I love being told to "Learn how to play" by a rank 6 survivor when I am a rank 15 killer :/
