No One Escapes Death rework idea
So i cant get a definitive answer from anyone devs or players so im posting this anyways. Im not trying to start and argument but rather create a dialog to promote a creative way to work around the No one escapes death perk. So whether it is or isnt people say that noed ruins the game for good survivors while promoting bad game play by killers. Thats just the truth of it, killers will argue its not true survivors will argue it is. Myself in an effort for complete transparency have been stung by the effects of noed. An argument is out there for small game well ive spent several days trying this little idea and thats buggy at best spending 75% of the game trying to figure out where one totem is that keeps setting off this perk is annoying at best and thats assuming the killer doesnt see you. So my suggestion would be to give killers the ability to destroy their own totems and make noed trigger only if theres only 1 unused totem at the end of the match. it promotes doing totems on both sides doesnt hinder killers at all and still works as intended. All it does is force one more requirement for it to trigger. The cries of killer mains insist that IF survivors do totems then noed wouldnt be a big deal all this change would do would be to provide the same thing to killer mains. Im sure the responses to this will be swift and mixed but its just a suggestion.

If you can't find totems even when you have small game thats a you problem im sorry.

its not a me problem after devs LITERALLY SAID they were making it harder to see the totems. even with small game its not easy you see one side of a coin and dont even consider the other. Interesting.

They have spawns. So all you need to know is where they typically hide with small game and your good to go.

Kind sir or ma'am, that perk is already terrible kind salty survivor after getting NoEd in a mix of once or twice, simply rub totems for 10-12 seconds and break the totem and WOW
NoEd died and that is proof that NoEd is fine as it is controlled by the survivors

well if its so easy then let the rework happen give killers a chance to do totems to activate their precious no-ed. its so easy anyone can do it

That's a bad argument, the roles are different totems are survivors secondary objective.

no they arent, in your mind survivors should only focus on totems if they dont want noed to trigger. THEY CANT BE SECONDARY. so either survivors have to focus on totems to avoid noed or they dont. you cant have both sides of this argument.

If you don't do your secondary objective you face the consequences it's as simple as that. Keep in mind there are four survivors if every survivor does totems then NOED is almost gone instantly. You shouldn't be hunting for them. You go for them when you see them.

As a killer who runs noed on bad nights where shits not going my way, i find that its the overly altruistic/cocky players that get stung.
Once the gates are powered, if you headed to the exits and used them, theres a good chance only one survivor is gunna get got. I also combine this with blood warden to really get the blood boiling of those that insisted on hanging around when they could have escaped.
Survivor's have a slew of perks/add-ons/team mates that can turn the game into a salvage operation for a killer.
A nerf to noed would just prove that survivors are catered to and aren't happy unless the are spoon fed an escape.

I mean. Killer plays almost entire game with 3 perks. You can also just cleanse dull totems, its FREE 1k/totem. Noed is powerful but it handicaps killer & can be countered by getting dulls.

Noed is fine. Totem spawns may change but we'll just memorize them again. Inner Strength was introduced so that's another reason to cleanse and the Bloodpoint buff so you can get an easy 1k bp. The Killer is stuck with 3 perks the whole game and will be so sad when their Noed doesn't activate XD.

Just make it to where they cant escape for a certain amount of time or till the totem is cleansed, but when the totem is cleansed EGC starts
