Should survivors be compensated for the killer doing?
Why do survivor lose items and blood points for the killer dcing. This feature is unfair and outrageous this honestly shouldn't be in the game.

It's an issue that could be fixed after dedicated servers go live

Lost pips, lost BP, lost items: while the recent changes have solved some of this they haven't been eliminated as issues when killers DC. Saying otherwise means you're lucky, not that it doesn't happen.

You used to be compensated for this if the Killer DC'ed, where you keep any items you brought or got in the Trial, and any BPs earned were kept as well.
Now you just get the BPs, but the item is removed from your inventory.

You don’t lose your items, I don’t know what are you talking about. And you gain as many BP’s that you deserved before the killer DC-d. If its not much, it usually means that it was a short game so why would you get like 10k+ for doing nothing in 2-3 minutes?

Uhh, you gain the item you get from the trial, but all BP and offerings are lost for the killer leaving

If you are losing items then in most cases it is because you're the one experiencing connection drops. Now, the game may say otherwise, but it is more accurate to look at other things happening. Killers dcing don't drop your items or zero out your bp anymore. The only chance of that happening was in the past if a game started, but suddenly dc'ed everyone or crashed them back to main menu. That is one bug that has been fixed so if you're losing things then you've probably desync'd very hard and the game booted you, but doesn't have a prompt to tell you that.

It still does.
You might even lose a Pip when you did not enough to blackpip at the point where the Killer DCed.

survivors can still get punished for killers dc. it's happened to me numerous times. tools and pips included.
