Hey Survivors! So, About Them Status Effects...
Here's a fun (not really, but i'm setting the mood) question for any Survivors players.
What Status Effect do you want to be afflicted by the LEAST?

Mangled. I suck at looping at don't have much of a chance without both health states.

Exhaustion. It's really fudging annoying.

Blindness, all it does it make SWF even stronger and it destroys solos. :(
It should just remove all HUD and UI related icons in my opinion.

anyway, on a serious note, i dont like Mangled, just makes healing even slower and im still not great at looping so being fully healed is nice.

I know, was giving him my reasoning on why being exposed doesn't bother me as much.
I typically use Dead Hard or Iron Will so I can somewhat counter out the disadvantage of being injured. :)

I'm not a Survivor main, but when I do play Survivor the most annoying status effect for me personally has to be... Exposed in the wrong situations.
Like if someone pops a haunted grounds right when i'm about to take a hit, really just kills the mood... Or if a Myers pops a Tier lll on me because some ding dong fed him... that also kills the mood for me.
Ironically I say that about Myers even though hes my main lmao.

So far it's more varied than i thought.

There's only one status effect that really impacts my games - Exhaustion.
It may as well be the only status effect.

Exhaustion, I run DH and BL and my build gets shut down when the killer is using the add-ons.

Unlike SWF who can use voice communication to give away their location to their teammates, solos rely on auras to give away their location to their teammates.
If you have 2 survivor teams, one solo and one SWF, both affected by blindness, who's going to doing better?

If I'm just starting to get chased and see Exhaustion....it just makes me sad. Actually most of the time I don't notice it until I attempt to use Balanced Landing and I don't get that speed boost. lol
But I can't decide if exhaustion, or mangled is worse. Just takes way too long to heal. I can do really well in chases, but I have a tendency to take hit towards the beginning while looking for an appropriate loop, or a pallet that hasn't been destroyed yet. So having an extra hit to take is always nice...

To be honest, I don't tend to get to destroyed by blindness in and of itself. I can usually read one of those notification bubbles really well and once I'm in the area I'm fairly good at tracking my slugged teammates(so long as they don't crawl to the ends of the earth) because, tbh, the only use Blindness has is on a Slug build (or a very hectic Lery's game where finding the hook is gonna be a hell)
I would prefer your idea though, a missing hud (maybe including notif bubbles) would mess with me far more than some aura reading that honestly doesn't feel necessary to find people or things in the first place
As for my least favorite status to be effected by... Deep Wound and, to a lesser extent, Madness. They waste a lot of my time, especially when applied regularly. Of course those are both killer specific.
My least favorite that can be applied by any killer is probably Hindered. There's something especially frustrating about a well timed fast vault becoming a slow vault. It's good this status exists though.

Okay, so it DOESNT make swf stronger. Like I said.
It is just a debuff that swf can work around.
It doesnt empower them at all by having the debuff.

What I mean by stronger is they have stronger lead against Solo survivors.
