Freddy's Oblivious and Borrowed Time
So I've played Freddy yesterday and there was a situation when Claudette that was unhooked run straight to the Kate and unhooked her as well. So I down the Claud and slug her, because she might have a DS, and I decided to down a Kate to slug her as well. Kate had Borrowed time effect, HOWEVER since she was in the Dream World the timer just runs out even when I was chasing her. So Kate just simply goes downed. My question is, it is intentional? Because this reminds a little bit the old Legion situation.

Actually that's not a counter. When he strikes the unhooked Survivor it forces them to fall asleep and thus start bleeding out.

People get so salty about BT timer going down against certain killers. People, you remember the BT before Legion patch which would go down no matter what killer do you were playing against ?

You always used to go down unless you had self care or someone healed you. The only reason BT got buffed was Legion. It wasn't even a justified buff.

While you're in the dream world you're effected by the oblivious effect which TR perks dont work when effected by oblivious.

You gain oblivious in the dream world if I read the news correct. The way BT applies is from the unhooker not the unhooked. So Claudette wouldn't be in the dream world when she unhooked Kate so BT would proc.

If that's how they changed it for it work while in dream world yes... and yeah that does make sense because now deep wounds is effected by the TR and while in dream world freddy has no TR so..

Which is not even the case in this example, when the Claudette just got unhooked, she is not asleep.

To clarify:
- If the unhooker is asleep, their Borrowed Time will not activate.
The oblivious effect isn't so much of a buff as it is a side-grade. You already would not hear the terror radius, so the oblivious effect was added to maintain consistency. You lose the ability to use terror radius perks on sleeping survivors, but you also gain immunity to perks like Borrowed Time and prevent accumulation for things like Stake Out and Diversion. You lose a little, you get a little.
But the point being, we did not add this change with the intent to make Freddy explicitly stronger or weaker.

Yeah I understand that I gain a little, and I lose a little. I don't use the perks with condition of the terror radius, so I guess it's ok to me :)

Why is an anticamping perk even based on a Killer's terror radius instead of just a straight radius around the hook?

Strategy??? Borrowed Time was implemented to stop a Killer from camping BEFORE Killers could remove their terror radius EXCEPT WITH INSIDIOUS ANOTHER PERK, not their base power. Apparently you haven't played this game very long.
