Gen rush no counter

So let me see if I understand you from this post.
If you play as a survivor and die, its because the killer is better than you by doing their objective or your team is bad and that's fine and fair. But if survivors wreck the killer by outwitting them via staying alive long enough, and evading the killer long enough to do all five gens then that is an 'unacceptable problem' and doesn't mean that the survivors were just better than you?
I mean please do correct me if my reading comprehension failed me to the extent that i misunderstood you but that seems rather a one sided argument to me where you merit the killers for being good enough to complete their tasks but condemn the survivors completing their main task sufficiently, as something of a problem?
And no, my views are not eternally one sided. I make it a point to be as objective as possible and yes, I play both sides. Call it what you will, and have whatever opinion you like i guess, but if a group of survivors hand me my ass and complete their gens quicker than I could kill them....they outplayed me. I learn, then i adapt.

It's about consistency. Sure, you can win with a perkless trapper against an red ranks swf on coms when they make massive mistakes. But that won't happen frequently, no matter how skilled you are with trapper. When you are very skilled with Spirit or Nurse, the skill of survivors don't dictate the outcome alone anymore. It don't even changes the power role, it gets rid of it.
I lost against a 7k hours 2man swf with Omega Nurse because they were incredibly good at the game. I also lost against a 500 hours 2man swf with Wraith, because Wraith got no ability to keep survivors busy, no map pressure and a power that doesn't benefit him very much.
If i would follow you thoughts here the 500 hours and the 7k hours are both better than me, because all killers are on the same power level right?

My friend can hit rank 1 as killer. He can win games pretty easily. But put him against actual good survivors and he crumbles. But the thing is, he's not a very good killer. He makes so many mistakes every game, but the skill divide at rank 1 (for both survivors and killers) is huge.
You put me and a newbie rank 1 survivor side by side and it won't even be close, how big a skill divide is.
My point is - you lost as omega blink nurse, the most op thing in the game. If you are both good with nurse and played well, you would have won that game. Period. If you are not good with nurse, why do you think you should be able to beat players better than you? If you didn't play well, why do you think you should be able to beat players who played better than you?
And what does time played matter? The friend I mentioned above has 2k hours in the game. My other friend has more hours than that in Overwatch, and he is perpetually silver. For all I know, that 2-man team against Wraith is better than you - someone who thinks you should win because you have played for more hours..

A perkless trapper? Yes, perks are almost impossible to obtain

The Top Killers when played right can counter gen rush.
When Survivors play the best they can and "Gen rush" There's only a handful of killers who can put up just as much a fight like Nurse, Spirit and Hillbilly.
Majority of Killers can't handle Top Survivor level Gameplay, That's just how the game and the killers have been designed.

Yes and no.
Perks can help absolutely but the main thing that aids in "gen rushing" is the mobility of killers. For this reason many M1 killers are at a huge disadvantage with keeping proper pressure up. Add in the fact that some maps you have to run a whole football field between each gen.
Billy on an open map easily keeps "gen rushing" at bay but Trapper cannot.

I mean, look if this isn't a such a dirt rush
5 gens in 5 minutes. 120 seconds to kill a survivor btw

3 gens strat?
1 done with other killers? Useless, solid teams know how to deal with it, and don't get 3 genned
2 done with the sniper doc? Well that's also known as the game hostage doc

Always true if survivors rush 3 gens in 80 seconds, maybe with a toolbox
0 -
Cuz most survivors are COMPLETELY GARBAGE?

Hag main red rank;
1- Hex: Ruin
2- Hex: Haunted ground
3- Hex: Thrill of the hunt
4- Spies from the shadows
Note: If this doesn't slow the game down...nothing will...

How is spies from the shadows supposed to slow the game down? It's just a tracking perk

You could change that one for another. I just think it's good when you patrol gens and survivors are trying to be immersive.

Here's another example of you "git gut"
I mean , look how fast M1 killers get rushed. This plague is ok as killer, she does some mindgames, but this video states how fast can 3 gens get popped.
Literally 3 gens in 80 seconds

I mainly noticed how she doesn't have Tanatophobia, Ruin or even her own perk that blocks gens for 120s.

That's what I'm rocking, didn't think there's one would say that, except for the 4th one I'll probably go with another hex or bbq if I want some BP. But still they popping totems and gens like crazy plus some free totems already near the gens, with a really good group of survivors I'll get 1-2 kills with the build at most but mostly with 5 gens already done.

I usually get full team kill.
How is your trap placement ? Like where do you put them ?
I find a lot of begginer Hag wrongly put them around gens. The best place to put them is before or/and after vaults/pallets has if the survivors were running away from you or a gen.
Also, during a chase don't be afraid to put a trap to break a loop. Even higher ups will most often then not trigger it and give you time to get a hit or use their DH.
And again about "Haunted ground" its just a decoy not an actual reliable way to get kills.
P.S you could switch "Spies from the shadows" for "Tanatophobia", it often cause survivor to think there's still an hex around and franctically search everywhere instead of repairing gens.

My typical game goes like this. https://www.twitch.tv/videos/482559897
But I've been trying to messing with the perks and the meme 4 hex

Yep do the same as the other guy and look just one of the things I suggested 🙄🙄🙄 3 gen strategy doesn’t always work, but you can make it work often. Even against solid survivors. The whole point is that there is counter to gen rush.

Genrushing is unfun for killers, just as much as camping or "tunneling" is for survivors. However it can't be fixed by punishing survivors for doing gens to quick. But I don't think it can be solved by increasing the time it takes to complete a gen, because holding one button for 80+ seconds isnt fun.

I see your point, but every killer can apply pressure, even if it’s a little. Combine with perks and your brain (intuition), you have a counter. Obviously you’re going to lose with the lowers tier killers more often than you would with high tier killers. Anyone with half a brain knows that, so not sure why this keeps being brought up.
Oh and I beg to differ, I think trapper actually has decent pressure on even larger maps. All depends on your trap placement and whether or not it’s good. If it isn’t good? Your fault. Gotta read the map better to where survivors are and where they will run to.

Learn to apply pressure and how to slug in a way to add pressure to force them off a gen. It's the killers fault for getting gen rushed not the survivors. It's not even really gen rushing it's the survivors objective to do gens and get out. It's a term for a specific style of build that just gets thrown out everywhere.

You don’t need hex’s on hag IMO. Pop Goes The Weasel, Save the Best for Last, Monitor & Abuse, Corrupted Intervention are all great perks for her and a solid build all together.

Not saying it isn't.
I like making rp builds that works. That's all.

Oh okay gotcha.

laughs in Corrupt intervention,Ruin,POP and surge
