what killers would you like to see in a Hallowed Blight skin?
so, halloween is getting close and i believe we will be seeing a new Hallowed Blight event this year with new skins to grind for.
so what killers would you like to see in a Hallowed Blight skin?
this obviously excludes licensed killers, so the possibilites are:
1) Nurse
2) Hag
3) Clown
4) Spirit
5) Legion
6) Plague
my personal pick is probaply gonna be Legion. even though i dont really like the killer, i think the skin could look really good.

I don't think demo is out of the picture regarding getting a Halloween skin, it's unlikely but not impossible

every killer that is licensed isnt necessarily out of the picture, but i doubt the licenseholders would allow for such a skin.
it would be neat though...
and yeah i would LOVE to see a demogorgon Hallowed Blight skin!

the event itself is probaply not gonna be the same, i'd just say it will have the same theme to it.
the hallowed blight theme seemed like something that has the potential to return in the future, and im kinda hoping so tbh.
i would also like to see new gamaplay elements to it other than the entity zits...
lets wait and see what they will come up with this year :D

it's probaply gonna work out like last year, where you obtain a currency and then are able to purchase the skins you like with it.
i am pretty sure that, IF they do a event with the same theme to it, the old skins will be available for purchase again.

Honestly, if they do a Hallowed Blight 2.0, they really need to make the 2nd objective not result in mass suicide on hook...
Like seriously, every game as a Survivor was people dying for serums... the Moonrise event made that concept a bit better, but it still wasn't the best 2nd objective...
And also, playing as Killer for serums was awful when waiting for 10 minute lobbys each... It got so bad that they just made the serum count for both classes... it was just a giant slap in the face for people who were literally 5 serums away on Killer... (Aka, me. I was really mad when they announced that...)

Can't relate, was taking a break from DBD at the time and came back when there was only 2 days left for the event. I heard about how bad it was though. Ended up shelling out 10 bucks for Wraith's skin that I never use because I have Wax Warlock. And didn't Moonrise have a huge bug where getting lanterns and doing objectives wouldn't get you any points towards the event? The last event I ended up taking part in was Howling Grounds and Summer BBQ. IMO, these did events the best, just adding another offering to the Bloodweb that doesn't make you go out of the way for the event exclusive, adding second objectives just ended up making everyone suicide once they got it done to get into another match to do it again, or it was super buggy like Moonrise.

It was basically horrible, so if they repeat it with the same concept... you'll expect the event to be mass suicide by hook again.

I'd say Legion, and Clown. Legion 'cause they're my main and I'm biased. Clown because coulrophobia is a real fear some people have and a nightmare fuel clown skin would be awesome for exploiting said fear.

Honestly the halloween pumpkin-juice skins were really ugly in my opinion.
I think its mainly about color... I just dislike bright orange in DBD.

I saw someone on rddit today made pumpkin totems. I would love those, it would just be a fun little touch.

honestly, hag holds a very close second place for me!
she was designed to have some very creepy cosmetics (as her store cosmetics have shown) and i think a hallowed blight skin could fit her very well.
though, i just cant get that picture of a bright legion mask shining through a deformed monstrosity of a person with mangled arms and legs and the yellow nectar dropping off of it out of my head...
like, that too could look very creepy... (if done right)

I’m pretty sure that Spirit, Plague, and Clown are getting new cosmetics.
I just wonder if the event is gonna be like last years Halloween event where you could only get one cosmetic for free and had to buy the rest or if it’ll be the the New Years event where you could get all the cosmetics for free.

Spirit, but only if it's not super gross. I found the Huntress's HB body skin to be super nasty gross because her toenails are like a foot long.

And before someone says it, no gross is not scary. Gross is gross. When you see a dog turd walking through the park you're not going to be scared of it, you are going to be grossed out by it. And yes, there are plenty examples of gross in horror movies, but the gross is not what makes it scary. It's always something else about it that makes it scary, and gross is just added on. Example zombies. Zombies are gross, but that's not why they are scary. They are scary because they will attack and eat you, and if you get bit you turn into a zombie. However decayed or nasty looking the zombie doesn't change how scary it is, just how disgusted you are to be near it.

There's cool gross and then there's just nasty gross.
The yellow drippy goop stuff was cool. The mutation effects were cool. Foot long toenails are not cool, it's just disgusting. I gag whenever I see it.

If they looked more like claws and less like she just flat out didn't trim them for 20 years then yea that'd be fine.
I noticed the first time I kicked a pallet. Took off that ish and never put it back on.
Also while I generally liked her mask, I felt like the googely eyes were too goofy looking. Pennywise can get away with those eyes because he would do something creepy at the same time but that mask just looking silly to me.
All the other skins, and the axe I liked. Just a hard no to those toenails, and a soft no to the goofy eyeballs on her mask.

All the hallowed blight skins have been leaked already, its plague spirit hag and clown, I personally don't like most of them, I think they're a lot worse than last years.
