What if there was fall damage?

Like when survivors fall off coal tower or the ironworks - really high jump points - they become temporarily injured and/or hindered. Make chases slightly more realistic.

I imagine balanced landing would bump up to a higher meta perk than it is currently.

But would it be necessary? survivors who aren't running balanced in a chase and jump from a high point are pretty much guaranteed to get hit no matter what anyway.

Before the Last Breath chapter survivors had no fall penalty. The Balanced Landing perk was added to compensated for the added stagger affect.

That is about how realistic its going to get. Like a chainsaw to the face or a hook in the shoulder.

It would make me a big sad on some maps like the Hawkins lab. Get caught up top and you're guaranteed to take damage. The only way out of that would be to get to the bottom of the stairs before the killer shows up, and that's just not an option. You'd have to be 200% immersed to survive that.

But more importantly, it would probably just feel stale. Going upstairs is basically out of the question, you would only ever run the ground floor loops.

Imagine playing on a map like Hawkins, or Coal tower and you're being chased by a Trapper, only to jump off the side of the building to have your kneecaps shatter and be put into the dying state...

I think anyone would be omega sad after that one...

What if there was fall damage?

Then there would be a lot of people quitting games more often.

Here. What if survivors could climb the jagged brick walls around the map and escape? It adds more realism, doesn't it?
