Should I Report?
Just had a dead survivor message me telling me where a toxic survivor was (this toxic survivor was bodyblocking others, causing notifications where other survivors were, etc).
I reported the toxic survivor for griefing the other survivors, but should I report the person who messaged me? Doesn’t that technically count as “teaming with the killer” under griefing?

Where did they message you? In game you can report and if it was on Steam, PS4, Xbox, that's a problem for those respective companies to handle.

If they messaged you outside of the game, I would suggest reporting them to the platform you're playing on. While we don't support people doing that, we cannot view your DMs to verify if them. If you report them to Sony/Microsoft, there's a very good chance that they will step in and take action. They are both pretty strict about that sort of thing.
If it's in-game, you should absolutely report them. We have a team dedicated to reviewing those reports.

I wouldn't report on principle. He was ruining the game. He deserved getting some hookery.

@ShrekIsHot I play on ps4. I’m wondering if I should report them in game though since what they did technically counts as helping the killer, but then again the person they ratted out was most likely irritating for them to play with.

You can report them in game, teaming is bannable, I'd recommend having video evidence and a support ticket.

Really a dick move, if the survivor was hacking, would you have reported the survivor that told you as well?

I don’t think you should report the person who messaged you about a toxic survivor. I don’t even understand why you would consider this under the circumstances that someone was being toxic to everyone else in the game.

Don't bother, devs won't do anything, i got every single type of curse when playing against SWF and those people never got banned.
