Next hotfix when?
So devs, whats your plan about the next hotfix? Please don't tell me you want to wait till midchapter patch to fix some gamebreaking bugs we currently have.

About what game breaking bugs you are talking about ?

EGC timer bugged, random DCs, Trapper traps disarming by itself without any survivor nearby and some other new stuff besides the bugs we are carrying since release

I just got a whole team of SWFs with it and my game bugged out at the result screen. It kinda killed my excitement a little because I think I got a Brutal from a game I was sure was gonna be a displeased.
Also bE knows about alot of the issues with the new Party system and still hasn’t fixed it so that needs to be changed asap! The glitches that affect escaping, healing and etc also should have been fixed long ago, so I’m still waiting on that.

Forget a hotfix, this needs a major patch to fix all the crap going on in the game right now.

There’s also still the major game breaking bug for survivors that doesn’t allow them to struggle, recover, dead hard, or escape the trail. It’s been in the game for months now and still hasn’t been addressed yet.

Don't forget the bug in matchmaking where it gets stuck finding a game that you can't join and you can't do anything to back out. You have to restart the game.

Well 40% of the swf games you lose a team member when joining a lobby, worse than before

Can confirm this happens, but it also happens in game. I noticed one person will dc most games randomly and you can tell this happens because the sound of someone dc'ing doesn't play.

I think having to deal with bugs is a good way to pass the time dealing with something different coming up against you.
I remember the tinkerer tier 2 bug when it would permanently give you no terror radius, that was a really fun time. Or the silent leatherface chainsaw with insideous to catch everyone by surprise. It was fun playing as and verses them. I kinda miss the novelty bugs like that.

Not being able to heal people maybe 10% of the time is a pretty big deal

Yeah because dealing with constant random dc's, inability to tell how much time you have left during egc, hitboxes and collisions getting worse every patch, yea its very fun dealing with this!! (:

Go to customize your character. Go into the store from there and back out.
You'll be able to search for a match normally after that.

As far as I know random dcing has been a problem for a while. I'm hoping that once dedicated servers comes then that problem will be resolved.
Hitboxes I blame on general P2P latency or whatever it's called. And the EGC thingy is just a visual bug which I think works the same but the timer bar derps out, if it is that then just be aware of it being a thing and leave before the 3 minutes.

New Killer Idea: The Bug!
It looks like, um, a bug......
When you are within it’s terror radius, your movements become spastic and glitchy.
When it lands a hit with its special power, you are disconnected from the match!
Oh boy this killer’s gonna be a big hit! Is it OP though? Hmmm, won’t earn much in the sacrifice category, so that should offset its strength!

Just be aware? The timer is slowed by people being down or hooked so you can potentially have a like 4-5 minutes I think, we shouldn’t have to calculate during EGC

There is also the disconnect from host glitch as soon as you escape from a match. 30 seconds of staring at a black screen before you can see your points. It tells you the killer dc'ed. Sometimes you don't get your xp or your 5k escape points.
There is also the swf lobby glitch where you need to make a new lobby after every match because if you don't and try to find a new match, some players don't get into the new lobby or the lobby just glitches out.
Honestly I hope a big fix is coming fast.

Mid chapter will be your best bet. Hotfixes are far and few and require a major survivor bug.

With the state of the game right now, leaving it til next mid chapter update would be a travesty.

To be fair mid chapter must be 2-3 weeks away.
Last year the September killer/Mid chapter gap was
September 18th (Spirit)-October 16th( Halloween&Mid Chapter)
If they do that again we are looking at roughly 15th/22nd.
Edit: Just going to add thats a big if btw obviously im no dev/insider.

Suffer another 2-3 weeks of losing escape points, xp, glitchy end game timer that can prematurely kill you etc.

I think it would be wise for BHVR to put a hold on releasing new content and instead focus on bug fixing.

Can you guys fix interactions? Happens too often if a locker or pallet is near a window the prompt on your screen would say fast vault yet because your closer to the locker your character would jump in a locker even though the prompt says fast vault, very annoying pretty sure this is a new bug

Is the dev team aware of the bloodweb glitch for Switch where only 2 perks appear and the absence of Freddy's and Bubba's perks on Switch?

Here’s what happens, people say stop releasing content and outfits until the bugs are fixed... and the defenders hop into the argument with, “but it’s a different team that does each thing.”
Maybe the bug team should be the largest team at this point?

This. It really feels like there is only 1-2 people working on bug fixing and coding while 10+ members are working on cosmetics and maybe 20+ members working on new DLCs.

the team that fix bugs is not the same team that release new content so it doesnt matter if they stop focusing on content or not

This one is the killer. I literally can't stand that. Everything else I can handle ,but this makes me close application and move to a different game.

It does matter, because the money they payed for those who create cosmetics can be invested to hire new and better coders instead.

Fr13th died because of other reasons as far as I know. Content is not everything. I could still see me playing DbD with the 4 original survivors and killers up to this date.

Its the same result. No new content.
If they stopped all new content to just fix bugs we would have no new content for a long time.

F13 was hit by a lawsuit that prevented them from adding content and declined rapidly after that.
They've only been able to bug fix/balance and it hurt them tremendously.
People constantly want new things why do you think the community has been on the pennywise train? People want content and growth more features.
