Scoreboard to reveal solos and SWFs

Hi all together,

I suggest that the end-game soreboard should use a colour system to show solo survivors and SWF groups.

Colours:

1 - Dark purple for SWF 1

2 - Light purple for SWF 2

3- Green for solo survivors

Please look at my examples below.

SCENARIO 1: 2 different SWFs in one lobby - SWF 1 in dark purple, SWF 2 in light purple:

SCENARIO 2: 1 SWF in dark purple and 1 solo survivor in green:

SCENARIO 3: 4 Solo Survivors in green:

It would just be nice to know at the end, what the situation was in that match.

Something mlike that would really be useful.

(But for obvious reasons will never be implemented lol)

Which kind of reasons? I would like a discussion on this

@Pirscher PSN had the option of blocking public from viewing your frinds so this would actually counter that and although I think it would be nice to know, it goes against psn so probably wont happen

Through ps communities you can play in a SWF without befriending those people.

So it cant reveal if the people in the SWF are friends

    @Pirscher

As far i know, swf survivors, or "those survivors" are vehemently against being revealed in any kind of situation as swf.

While your idea is only for after the trial, after the damage is dealt so to say, there were similiar discussions going on about revealing swfs in lobbies too. Most survivors in those discussions dismiss both options (before and after the trial).

Do I really need to spell out that survivors just want to keep the various advantages of swf and cwf without the game being balanced around it or the killers inability to prepare for it?

Might be worth mentioning that solo survivors could need a warning about 2man or 3man swf's too.

Edit: since i dont go online with my ps often, i totally forgot survivors there can just go teamspeak with randoms to circumvent any such warnings.

I think its fine seeing the ranks in post game lobby but not in the pre game lobby as this would encourage dodging.

A good killer can 2-4k a SWF group np. I mainly play solo survivor and I actually perform much better than I do with my SWF group.

As noted, you can be in SWF without being friends. Also, SWF is a DbD convention, so I don't think it goes against any rulings of PSN. You still can't read their friends list.

That doesn't make any sense. Every other PVP games shows you who's on what team and if they're in a group chat. For example: Overwatch. DBD would be fine.

The devs should add this. It will give killers a good indication in the different challenges between facing SWF or solos.

I would love for this to be implemented.

It would be useful information as most killers would feel better about a loss if they knew it was SWF, and amazed if it was a all solo team of superstars.

This might violate some privacy rules through Steam, PSN, or xboxlive. It would be cool to have but it would have to be able to reflect how your profile is set up on each platform. So you'd probably still have people hiding it or what not.

How might it violate some privacy rules? Which privacy rules?

seems like a good idea, basically just letting people have more info about the group they went against post game.

    Can we implement this now?

    Hello

I was looking information on how to improve the games against SWF and think this idea is wonderful.

I would like to know how many players are on swf, if I lose against a 4 players premade wouldn't care because SWF is OP

I don't see anything wrong with this as long as it is after the match, but i would miss killers accusing me of playing with friends though :(

I'm pretty sure it won't break any rules if the only tells who you're grouped up with not if their on your friend list or not.

Should you have your profile set to Private or Appear Offline, I think it may violate the User End stuff to display this info at all, at least on Xbox. Not sure about the other platforms though.

If so the devs certainly wouldn't implement this if it only worked on PC players but not console for example. They also might wish to avoid any additional salt such a change would prolly generate, that makes sense to me too.

I personally wouldn't mind this post-game, but doubt it'll happen.

I play survivor with friends and to be honest i dont care if this is implemented, i rather have it at the end than start of the game.

Ok, thank you for bringing this back up.

This idea has been discussed for years now, but I dont think they will implement it.. Even in Q&As they have ignored this question too.

    So yeah
