Removing them completely would be bad. But a Mori-Rework would be necessary. In their current state they are problemativ. My suggestion would be.

cypress memento mori: Get removed and maybe replaced with a secret offering, which affects the amount of totem spawns or something like that. It's effect is not worth an offering, but would be perfect to be part of the basekit. Giving the killer a mori for the last survivor ends the match faster and rewards the killer for doing their job. Besides that it opens opportunities to do a killer daily without using a perk or offering.

ivory memento mori: Allows to kill you survivors directly when they are on their death hook.

ebony memento mori: Should turn into a Token based and game changing Offering. For each time you hook a survivor you gain a Token. Survivors can't die on the hook as long the can be unhooked by another. But if they hang for too long the killer gains another token. When the Offering has X Tokens, the killer is allowedto kill all survivors by your own hands during the trial. Shouldn't be a secret offering. Surivors and Killers always see how many Tokens the killer got.

I think the last one might be a controverse but an interesting change, if pulled off good.

Mori's are fine. Changing them to even needing a hook at all was a bad choice.

They can't make the game balanced for swf though unless they buff solos to around swf levels. If they balance killers for swf then solos will suffer and since solos are the majority of players I don't see it happening.

Choice B wouldn't allow mori's to work as max hooks is 3

Even against 4 solo's the game is very much still in the survivors favor. Bar playing a couple of the top tier killers, they have to mess up A LOT to lose.

To counteract this I would actually like a sliding scale in difficulty the higher rank you get to make it easier for low ranks but harder at higher ranks for survivors. Especiallly seeing as the main balance issues are at the higher ranks. This would balance the high ranks more without hurting the newer players.

This could be more or less gens depending on the rank or preferably extra objectives. Regardless the specifics aren't really the point right now, just the idea in general.

How about this for a Mori change:

Cypress Mori: Allows you to kill the obsession after one hook.

Ivory Mori: Allows you to kill any player you've hooked. But only once you've hooked at least two different survivors.

Ebony Mori: Allows you to kill all survivors. But only after you've hook all four survivors. Meaning you can mori until each individual survivor has been hooked once.

Leave them as they are. Maybe just make them rarer offerings?

If you nerf everything, you're at risk of having nothing being fun.

Made the same comparison in the last thread I commented, you don't want to turn into Dice, where on BF3 xbx they nerfed everything that was good so everything was equally as #########.

Literally the mentality of a communist, let's all suffer equally!

I never use Moris apart from daily rituals.

I've been morid for about 5 consecutive games and I can understand why they need to go or change. It's not even the same killer but everyone seems to bringing Moris into matches and completely killing them before they've started. As a primarily solo player who brings no items the majority of times I question why is there a need to use Moris. It's extremely annoying and unfair.

Changes id love to see to moris:

cypress mori becomes base kit as it doesnt do anything to help you in game. Alls it is is a cool animation for the final survivors death, also helps with mori dailys

Ivory mori makes it so you can only mori 1 survivor thats on death hook

Ebony mori makes it so you can mori every survivor thats either on death hook, or if everybody in the match has been hooked once.

Hope keys hit the road too, only reason bring i a mori is to kill key users, figured i'd let them leave the game as soon as possible since that is there goal.

I have a much better change nearly everyone would agree with:

    C. Only useable AFTER onhooking everyone once. This avoids tunneling the first survivor down to mori him in the first minute of the game.

You cant "get rid of moris" that's poor word choicing and one of the first things that players wanna see from a new killer is the MORI..... moris need to be done in a better way that's more rewarding then bringing an offering..... nerfing to cypherus or whateve to where they're borderline useless is not the way to go.....

Insta heals need to stop being compared to moris and let's not forget that the purple was made way more useful imo.

Getting rid of keys is basically a must unless they make it so if a survivor used a key to open the hatch, it closes immediately so no other survivors can escape when they haven’t completed every generator. Then making it so Mori’s either don’t exist or make it like someone said, you can kill your obsession after they have been hooked, then a new obsession will be chosen and the cycle will continue if the killer is worthy to have the power of the Ebony’s mori.
