how about marking it move around every (x)time
so instead of a stand off the killer is hunting and the survivor is playing with stealth and trying to find the hatch. Maybe a notification when the hatch moves.

This would serve to prolong a hide and seek game. If the Killer is standing on the hatch, survivor hides for 20 seconds until it moves and tries again. Would really slow down the end game unnecessarily.

Idk. As a killer I just let them leave. And as a survivor I wait until the killer gives up.0
