Huntress and her trophies Ps4
Hello everyone! I am trying to get all the trophies on dead by daylight for PS4 and right now I work with huntress.
Im fairly good with her, but I mostly throw my hatchets at a close distance like threw a window or just over a pallet when survivors are trying to loop.... one of her trophies, wants me to down survivors with hatchets at 20 or 24 meters distance? I dont even know how to see what distance I have to the survivors.... even less so, im able to see how they wont just move out of the way after I throw.... does anyone have any solid tips for me on how to .. I dont know..snipe the survivors from far away?... or how to meassure up the distance I need? I feel like this trophy will take loooooooooooaaaaaaaaaads of time....
Thankfull for any info! :)

If you struggle with long shots Nurses Calling (Tier 3) will help. Just keep in mind it'll trigger till 28m, you just need 24m for the Trophy. Survivors Hitboxes still are extended if they heal or get healed, it's like they're standing. Go for curve Shots (i would advice to not charge them) to hit them over small objects while healing (it will not work if they're just crouched). Combine this with Sloppy (she has also Addons for that) + M&A to suprise them, it will help you alot. At least till you entered Red Ranks. I'm R3 on Xbox right now using NC, Sloppy, Ruin and Blood Warden. Might change to Whispers, BBQ, Shadowborn and Ruin now. It's prob her best Build, at least on PC.
Also watch this guide. Never gets old and helped alot Huntresses:

Use Nurse's Calling (at its max level) like Katzengott said, it'll give you a general idea of how far that distance is from you and it will familiarize you with it when you take the perk off afterwards (Or keep it on the entire time, the perk is great to use anyways)
Perks like that, and BBQ can give you aura readings for each Survivor and unless they're running behind a structure it should be a straight shot with some guessing to where they'll walk ahead for your fully charged hatchet to meet them at.
Whispers also gives you an idea of how far a Survivor is from you, but doesn't give a aura reading. So that can also help you figure out the distances of how far a Survivor is from you.
The video suggested above should help you figure out how to play Huntress a bit better when it comes to long range shots, so you should review it. Otherwise, practice makes perfect and common sense for when to throw a shot or hold off on it is also important when in a match if you're throwing from long range...
You should (If you don't already) also get used to the center of the screen and "imagine" it as a cross hair for you to view when throwing a hatchet, or you can just out a piece of tap where the cross hair is supposed to be, either one works... But it's better to just get used to where that cross hair is supposed to be and get used to it.

If you think about how her Hatchtes fly, just imagine an Ark. If you for example see a Survivor with Nurses Calling (NC) healing behind a small object, just aim a bit higher to hit him/her (and not the object). It's hard to explain. Most good Huntresses don't need to think about it, it's just muscle memory which comes with experience. Just practice ALOT and you WILL get better. M&A = Monitor and Abuse Perk, but i only would suggest to use it for your Trophy and in lower Ranks, since it only affects her Terrorradius, not her Humming.

Just keep in mind she's (at least for me) most rewarding Killer in the game. I only play her for fun and good shots. Idc about ranking. Nothing better to get a GG from Survivors respecting a solid Huntress, especially on console. If you get toxic msgs, just think about they prob never tried her and couldn't hit a single hatchet. High Rank Huntresses are pretty rare on Console. There's def a reason for it, that's why i always respect her.

I did this last night on xbox. I typed out a message on notepad to copy/paste something like, "hi I need some help getting hatchet downs for an achievement. If you are willing to help, I'll let you escape. Just do the gens and wait by the gate, but dont open it. I need 19 downs total. Sound good?
Then as people joined I quickly copied that message and sent it to them. I did a little patrol at the start of the game and just spun in a circle a few times near a gen that was being worked on. Then waited by a gate. They all came over to help. I had nurses calling as a perk at level 2 I think. It activates within 24 meters, perfect for distance. Back up until the red auras go away and let the hatchets fly. I lost a pip but got the achievement. A fair trade in my book. I was rank 12 and they were between 8 and 13. They all got about 18k points from gens and heals, maybe escaping chases as I reloaded hatchets, and then surviving, so I assume they all got at least 1 pip.
I had been trying this legit and got 1 out of over 400 throws. It was total luck and was shocked when my tracker went up. Hopefully you can find a game where the survivors will help. Otherwise, this achievement is virtually impossible.

Thank you Katzengott, but could I ask you to elaborate a little? might sound dumb but what is "curve shots" ? and what is M&A and NC? the rest I understood but these 3 things confused me... I currently run Nurses calling, Ruin, BBQ, and huntress lullaby on her.

thank you, both FireHazard and Katzengott, Im fairly good hitting something not to far away so I dont think I need a "crosshair", but I will practice with the "guess where they will go and throw for that position" as well as trying to throw over objects (never really tried hitting survivors with an arked throw... :)
