Buff:: Breakdown and Mettle of Man + Unhooks
Just a small idea
Breakdown should activate when unhooking allies
Mettle of Man: in addition to its current effect, this perk should get 1 stack per safe unhook.
Would also push these perks more into the "unhook an ally" flavor category, like borrowed time and babysitter, opening up the door for a few more different ally saving builds.

MoM just needs to be reworked entirely. It's not a feasible task to balance a health state. They need to scrap the reward and come up with something else.

They could start by implementing just the safe hook portion, and if it becomes a problem then they could up the token requirement.

So it was in an old test build, but never made it into the live version. Odd, wonder why that change didn't make it through.
The mettle of man token bug should be addressed asap.

I think mettle would be a pretty balanced perk if it showed on the hud and then reset the count of hits if you got hooked

Breakdown buff sounds really interesting for sabo builds. I like that idea 😁👍
MoM is difficult to balance, but definitly need a change👍

Yeah mettle of man isn't getting tokens correctly from protection hits.
Had the protection thing trigger 3 times before and only got 1 stack.
I like the idea of the tokens for mettle resetting upon getting hooked to balance it out if safe hooks applied a token.

It didn't make it to live because they determined it was too easy to get MoM active with those requirements.

They really should implement it, and also make it reset stacks if you get hooked like how wickedkatz suggested.

Because you need to get 200BP Protection score. 100BP one doesn't count. (dont ask my why there are two protection scores ...)

Breakfown could easily destroy the game if all the survivors took the perk xD

Okay, what if they made it to where if you heal a survivor fully (Like Second Wind), the perk activates. The next time you take a protection hit for a survivor you don't take damage?

Think it would be fine.
It's very rare that 4 random players a take the same niche perk. Hooks respawn anyway, and this change would indirectly add value to hangman's trick.
Also since it only activates on unhooking it really is only going to activate a set amount of times. Probably wont even get the full value out of it most games ,unless your in a swf, because of camping killers or potato teammates.

In that case it would need some kind of cooldown because in swfs it would be OP as hell, and randoms running empathy would be able to trigger it a lot.

Yeah there would have to be some sort of cooldown. Maybe a 30 second cooldown for the team's use of MoM after someone takes the protection hit?
So that only one person can take the MoM hit while someone's being carried?
It should probably have a limit of like 1 or 2 uses per match as well.
