Make a blood warden cover the basement?

I'm a survivor and I wanna see new challenges. Make a blood warden built in for killers on the basement? Yeah people are going to flip but so? Killer goes 60 from the basement and everyone is locked in, unlocks when killer is within 20? Something of the sort? It'd force chases to go by the basement and either force people to stay far from it or learn to play hard by it. Killers can get pretty op but this would be fun for me as a survivor who spends tons of time saving some potato from the basement only to see them right back anyhow. Maybe it'd detour me from saving them? Lol

Im just cringing at a killer with high mobility using it. Basement finally opens, only for a Billy to come chainsawing down the stairs 2 seconds later.

Why do you feel this would create a challenge vs. a mini-game for some?

Do you come across that many people playing games in basement, that often? I've seen a couple...but those are usually bad farms/saves and/or bad positioning/timing/decisions...

Most folks aren't worried about the basement if there's no one hooked in there. For those that are...well, usually cautious once they've learned what it's like to be caught in there...always a few that like to test the waters, push the limits...but just a few.

If you're that bored, start teaching those potatoes a) how to use Discord, b) how to get away from the basement i.e. what BT is...

You are running BT when farming rescuing these potatoes from the basement, right?

OP is suggesting the survivors are forced to stay in the basement until the killer returns... That has nothing to do with risky plays.

    I don't like it.

It's one thing with bloodwarden if you get kills, because survivors are literally staying for a minute and a half to mess with a killer with the gates open and they haven't got a hook in that time, it's time to leave.

If you have an effect that can block the basement, you can block the entrance while a survivor is in there and forcibly progress hook states or guarantee a kill through no fault of the survivors, just luck.

    I guess.

Still fail to see how it really adds anything of value to the game...

"Let's lock everyone inside, if they go in...and let killer hold them hostage!" Sounds fun. $40 take my money.

NO one even runs Blood Warden (Bamboozle Requiem) as is. This would likely make the few that like it for the surprise factor not bother.

If you just mean this built in... are you WANTING people to riot and such?

Riot, yes lol. I often run across many just playing in the basement. Maybe it's an Xbox thing but heals are done a majority of the time in the basement, people jumping locker to locker just hiding in the basement waiting for everyone to die to then usually catch a hatch in the killer shack right beside the basement. I dunno but there's gotta be something to get these folks out and Playing. It's so boring dying on your first hook watching people just locker hop in the basements.
