Too much salt is bad for you
This game (amongst many others) is notorious for its salty, somewhat toxic players -
Can't we just set it so you don't see the names/profiles of killers and survivors and have a rate button "Do you wish to play against this person again" an block them from your matchmaking.
We have to either fight the salt with kindness and love, not engage it or remove the option. I personally have been triggered in this game myself, I think everyone has at some point, however once I load up their PS4 profile and get all ready to slap them down with some hurtful words, I get hit with the "User cannot accept messages" thing and at that point - I'm over it.
Thoughts? #letsbepositive #nosalt #toxicityshouldjustbelefttoSystemofadown

If we had an option to do that. I really feel like some people would literally have everyone blocked at their rank. The game is kinda big but I run into the same people daily so it's not huge. While I understand why people hate how salty people are in the community I feel like there are really positive interactions as well.

@KillermainBTWm8 I generally always try and have positive interactions, but yeah if they have everyone blocked at their rank then maybe it'll teach them to be a bit more forgiving and less salty

@TeambossFloze I think you should check out this article before you consider giving people this much power:

@Peasant Oo thanks ill give this a read

@Peasant very interesting article, maybe be happy then with just hiding player profiles xD

@TeambossFloze Yeah, we don't want Trutalent or Noob3 to suddenly have 3 year queue times, eh? I imagine the community would be quite upset over that.

IF there was such a block feature implemented, I think it's fair to say it would get abused - by either side, a lot of "this person beat me so I'm blocking" would happen.
Communication abuse is a different thing, it's never a good idea to message someone something salty...and those things are punishable. On consoles its the responsibility of Microsoft & Sony to police these things, on PC we have our own Support team to handle it.

Oh god I remember this on OW as well... one of my friends was very competitive and got avoided by like I think it was 136 people lol.

@Peasant I'm not a big fan of Truetalent so Im happy to give that one a miss but the other guy sure

I'm not too keen on either one of them, just dropped their names since they are usually seems as the big boys that are the most polarized. Like, survivors like Noob3 but not too many killers. Similar to how killers tend to like Tru, but survivors certainly don't.

Definitely this. Would more than likely be abused and cause really inhumane queue times for certain people *Insert queue time rant*.
Exactly the reason why it was removed from OW. Perhaps rewarding sportsmanlike behavior could work as an incentive.

I only want to avoid other survivors.
this shouldn't be for killers to use on survivors
or survivors to use on killers

Ideally that would only end up with them punishing themselves since the game should be pairing them with their rank bracket or higher. Would mean for longer wait times for them.

Someone raised a good point about windows, ps4 and xbox have their own things to battle this and I accept that's the best way we have to deal with saltyness.
Until then people more love less hate
