All Auric Cell Only Cosmetics Items For Killers Cost 100$USD

As an avid collector in games i do enjoy the play to unlock system for unlocking the cosmetics. Also understand they do this so can offer dlc in pay to unlock system. I have never seen dbd team selfish and ussually more forthcoming in generosity. To me there the 2nd most giving company. But this auric cell item cost is insane. This move seems like a very selfish greedy move. That 300 auric cell yellow pick axe really 3$.That 1080 clown suit costs more than him at a steal of 10$. I like being able to get cosmetics and support my favourite game but a rule of thumb in all games is usuually clothing packs shouldn't be over 5$. I kinda wish this store was gone cause i expected reasonable pricing. I bought 2 full auric cell packs and got rid of all the killer cosmetics and now left with 720. When the hag cosmetic comes out won't have enough and it will definitely be auric cell only.
HOW TO FIX
1. Don't make cells match real prices and leave some harder math to be made then 1st grade math. Have a wierd number equal to 1$ not 108 auric cell cause all its missing is a decimal to tell you the truth.
2. Put an optional pack where can buy the new wave of auric cell only cosmetics from the sides you choose.
3. Price them like if you were selling them like dlc clothing. A color change should be 1$ a cool outfit 3$ and licensed outfit 5$. Would be easier to get small frys rather then whales like me.
4. Make them all unlockable cause by the time people earn the wraith candle outfit. The next chapter will be out. With those high reaches to unlock doubt anyone without cheating could get all cosmetics unlocked fast.
5. Make auric cells obtainable as daily thing, don't have to give much but 5 auric cells a day from playing and in 7 months can have enough for a full fledge big outfit. 10 auric cell daily and only takes 3 and half months of daily loyalty.

Please fix this system its making me cry cause i couldnt find a game to buy this month so i acted foolishly and bought a 2nd full pack hoping to have leftovers. I wish i could go back in time and stop self from buying these packs cause the outfits are great but i kinda need the money to save away more. In total spent 122$ cad and feel like a dumb blonde girl that got duped by pretty cosmetics.

Number 5 sounds nice. A little allowance so that you can get some cheap cell only item every month. You probably wouldn't ever be able to afford everything in the game this way, but it'll give players a nice little thing to look forward to.

I don't think there's anything that the devs will do that will get rid of your urge to buy things. That's the evil nature of microtransactions. The best thing you can do is just... not buy stuff. I know, "thanks I'm cured," but the devs won't get rid of microtransactions, and they'll only keep adding more stuff.

I was in a similar situation as you a few years ago. I spent over $300 on a game called Lost Saga, and I regret spending that much money on one game. Think about all the other things you can buy with the money you're thinking of spending on costumes. You could buy some nice food, physical merch for something you love, or just save it for a big, awesome purchase (like a VR headset or a fancy computer).

Just be careful with your money, and try to keep yourself on a strict budget. That's all you can really do.

No money for BHVR anymore until they balance their game such that it can be called competitive.

I think they implemented the store to pay the rights of the game to Starbreeze. Maybe after they finish paying the prices go down.

Yeah the styles are way over priced. I like your suggestions as well.

What they really need are  in almost every game with cash for currency they give you a bit more than the previous bundle by maybe 5 to 10 percent the last being maybe 20 percent max since you are buying in bulk and they want you to buy more. What Did has is a set price which means even if you get the largest bundle there is no discount or free cells for departing with so much money at once. It's really quite silly because it leads to the problem you just described as an unhappy customer and can influence others who read your story less likely to give money for cells.

You actually don't need to buy them tho xD They're for people like you, who want to pay money for the company xD Only buying one or two of those skins isn't that expensive so normal people don't cry about it. Maybe stop wasting your money on digital items that have no real value?

You are aware that games with numerous characters also have a wide variety of cosmetics for said characters and that people who like them will buy right? Besides like in my post they aren't entirely complaining about how much they spent but that there is no "discount" for giving so much money at once since companies typically throw in a percentage of "free" currency for buying a large bundle allowing the customer to have a little bit of padding for their next purchase. If DBD had such a thing this whole comment section probably wouldn't even exist and I probably would have bought some cells for killer cosmetics I like.

Also cosmetics are more like vanity items not entirely so the company can get money for nothing and people tend to buy way more than 1 or 2 if they really like the game it's why Overwatch and Team Fortress 2 allow you to buy cosmetics to make your characters look cool and people spend hundreds of dollars on them without a complaint. If the company wanted handouts for nothing they could have easily implemented a donation button and not set up a greedy store with no discounts.

They actually ''give'' u a ''free'' percentage of extra auric cells at some point. Look closely.

Don't compare this game to overwatch. Pls, don't. The only thing they have in common is that they're both unbalanced. Overwatch has a loot box based cosmetic system. Not a real currency based one. Sure you can also buy cosmetics with coins but u can't purchase gold coins and some skins are only purchasable with real money. DbD is the same in that way, I guess. You can buy some cosmetics with real money and some with the currency ''Iridescent shards''. These equal coins. Overwatch doesn't give you bonus loot boxes when buying the big packs btw. You basically called Blizzard a ''greedy store with no discounts'' since u think you're entitled to that, while you're only one of many cash cows.

Blizzard gives Overwatch lootboxes by playing the game and leveling up they even give event ones for free assuming you sign in during the event. I only used Overwatch as an example purely due to them selling cosmetics such as the League stuff which are unattainable through lootboxes although I should have used a game like Elsword as a much better example as they have tons of characters, sell ingame currency an and have cosmetics you can only get through their cash shop. As a side note I never liked lootboxes and never gave Blizzard a dime for them although I do admit that I was wrong about the "free" cells for larger bundles Regardless the cosmetic items in this game are rather overpriced when compared to cosmetic DLC packs being 5 or 3 dollars or killer bundles like Myers, Nurse and others being 7.

I feel like number 3 would be the best. Unless it’s one of those super special international event exclusive outfit, no outfit should cost even close to $10. That’s ridiculous for just a costume. I planned to buy so many outfits, but when the prices for Auric Cells and outfits were revealed, I changed my mind. I only bought one (Wild Asylum Mental Patient Doctor), and that was only because I main him and I had been waiting months for it, otherwise I wouldn’t have got it. BHVR does NOT need to turn into a money-hungry video game company. We already have enough of that with Activision and 2K.

I thought made clear i knew didn't have to buy them.
Also they do have value to the person holding them and until you have bought something from a store won't know that feeling. Like mods in fallout that make something small like grass better sometimes that is worth something to someones gameplay experience. May change the experience slightly but makes it enjoyable. When someome has a game they like then sometimes they want the experience to have 100% completed file. In store items unobtainable makes that nice feeling extinguished. Also if 2 skins are 20$ then yes its over expensive. Can tell to go after only obtainable stuff but the auric cell only items have the being the best cosmetic going for them alot. Being able to obtain only a common outfit by time reach next chapter sucks too. Guess one could earn the purple outfit if they gave up there life with grind.
