Which tome 1 challenge took way too long to finish?
If you're like me, than you don't have any issues cleasing totems, sacrificing survivors and whatnot. Except when there's a challenge/daily to do those things, in which case, the universe conspires against you to stop you from acomplishing your goal.
So with that in mind. Which challenge from tome 1 took way longer to finish than it had any right to?
To me, it would have to be the cleanse 8 totems one.
Took me f*ing 5 or 6 matches to do it. It's like everyone was doing this same challenge at the same time...
Special mention to surviving with claudette, took like 4 games...

No challenge took too long for me. I found nice survivors that let me do what I wanted to in those games.

Crow one. Took me 5 matches til I even got a map with crows on it.

I mean if you go in a match with the “i’m gonna complete this challenge, otherwise/when i completed it, im gonna suicide on the first hook” mindset, it doesnt take that long.

None of them, they all were easy.

The 3 great skill checks one took me forever. 8 games maybe. I finally got it in a game where the killer decided to let us all live. For some reason, with the pressure off, I suddenly started getting lots of greats.

Most of them in 1 match, but some in 2. I guess they were ok, but for beginners they can be a hard time. Tome 4 will be interesting, just like doing 4 gens in single trial??!!!11eleven lol

Got all of them in 1 or 2 matches. And I'm not even a good killer. I'm not looking forward to the harder ones.

I was playing Wraith and somehow couldn't make that crow counter move from zero.
THEN I realised!

Well, first game i played with claudette I survived but hadnt challenge turned on so ffffff.
The hardest might be to survive since at high ranks as solo player is hell.

It’s not that. Either it would take too long because the crow rng was poo or you just didn’t get have time to go run around and piss of crows lol. I mean, it’s not a hard challenge but it takes longer than it should. Took me 3-4 games

Escaping with Claudette.
During the first few days of the Archives, everytime I tried that challenge I was tunneled to death. It was not fun.

Kill/Sacrifice all 4 for me. If I didnt have it selected because I was trying a different one, it would happen. If I had it selected, everyone brought their toolboxes.
The one I did think I would have more of a problem with was the trapper one.
I dont even know how it happened. But I wasnt going to argue with it telling me it was completed.

Took me about 4 for totems. My last one was against a hag and I left one dull alone as I was already done - hatch closed I'm at gate and noed :D

The crows, cause I'm not a selfish deuche who randomly ran scaring them without caring for our team's objective. It took me about 6 games. And I didn't get to play red swamp (the giant ship has about 15 crows on it) in those 6 games so...

Did each in a single game, the crows was easy, makes noise and killer kept going to the crows so it kept him occupied (found out after he had spies in the skies probably why)

All my survivor challenges are taking me a while

I got most of them in one or two games. None of them stood out as being particularly difficult.

Doing survivor challenges makes me feel dirty.

Escaping with claduette took like 20 matches, and that was an escape with a key.
Also the crow one was pretty easy for me, brought a haddonfield offering and played wraith and just walked around the out side of the map.

the last killer one - "kill all survivors in a trial by any means" or something.
That one took me like 6 tries because I was having a really bad killer day. The next day was better and I got it on my 2nd try, but only because someone DC'd and it still counted it.
(I was playing trapper on swamp and an Ash stepped into a trap, was being saved, and DCd right as he was freed from the trap. I have no idea why he left)

The crows one, I had to play a few matches until I could find a map with crows on it, Baddham.
I thought the Trapper one would be hard with getting 2 Survivors in a bear trap, not gonna lie I went off that game, few cocky claudettes.

Swamp maps are great. I counted 3 that I'd disturbed, but somehow completed it in one?!

Making 2 safe unhooks in 1 trial. Either my teammates would steal my saves, or the killer would camp the hook.

I do the crow ones by accident by playing killer too many times; apparently you're allowed to disturb the crows while playing Killer. I think as long as the symbol of the challenge is that Spiral of Entity Legs; you can complete the challenge with either side

I'm not looking for fast challenges. I'm looking for something to keep me busy and motivated.

Kill all 4 survivors took me 2 games. First game brought Bubba with devour hope, rancor and an ebony. Got red forest and a really coordinated team. Next game ran Freddy on haddonfield and it was pretty easy.
Crows was easy. Threw on legion cause new cosmetics are awesome. Was going ti just run around the map but got a swamp. Set off crow bombs 3 times. Survivors jept throwing themselves at me so 3kd. Didn't try for 4. Pretty weird cause i suck at legion and killers in general.

Healing people with empathy, NO one let me heal the Mx they all ran self care and I was sitting there with well make it AND a purple med kit but nOoO, they wanted to chuck me over (took me literally 14 matches, no joke, but everything was a breeze) hope you guys didn’t have to deal with ass holes ;(

why didn't you just put on an offering to give you like swamps with the crow bomb?
I found Tome 1 piece of cake and unsure why its taking two weeks before Tome 2 unlocks

None really, maybe the hit great skill checks with this is not happening but it only took 2 games to get it right. Maybe cleanse totems/search chests but again, those really just took about 2 games

on not one of any of your survivors at all? not one single map token? and you realise there are crows on every single map right?

Most of the survivor's quests which can't be conducted solely, like to rescue other survivors, which is beyond my control when they just DC in first hook/down......
For killer's quests, I am lucky that the 4k quest was finished in my first trail.

Yeah not one on survivors since I usually P3 and leave them at level 1.
And those crows are in such awkward places in most maps anyways. Most of the time they're in the corners of the map.

curious why you prestige to p3 then leave your survivors at level 1 with 1 perk, no addons and no offerings? just curious

Longest ones were cleanse 8 totems, sacrifice 5 survivors, open 5 chest, and crows. All of these took 2 tries.

For future reference, go to the Strode house and run along the walls behind the houses. There’s about ten billion crows back there lol

Survivors are just skins really.
Already have one survivor with all the perks. Not gonna through the hassle of wasting points on survivor side when killer has more play-styles.

@Mc_Harty Ahh ok so you are primarily a killer player - and you don't have the offerings on any of your killers either? or do you p3 and leave them at 1 too?

The 50,000 BP challenge.
It wouldn't be much of a problem if it actually wasn't bugged for me. 😕
Then there was the sacrifice 5 survivors, and apparently, EGC doesn't count as a "sacrifice". I had a 3K with the EGC and it made me so upset to see that not count. 🤬
Then there were crows, I had to blink around the edges of the map. There was this one group of crows that would always give me 2 points, so I would blink back to them every now and then! 😁

None of them. They were all pretty easy to get, even without really trying. It took me three maybe four games for the crow one but I wasn't actually working on it. Most of the challenges I just put on and then played normally since they'd happen naturally most of the time.
I was worried about the two trapper ones since I suck as him but I got them both first try. The EGC one I slugged for and the 4k one took me a few games because I didn't slug and the last survivor kept getting hatch.
All in all I had no issues and I'm quite excited for tome 2 now.
