Where did all the Hillbillies go?
I'm on PS4 so Nurse was never a thing.but I used to get 4 or 5 Hillbillies in a row, then someone random, then another 3 Hillbillies. Now they seem almost rare. What happened?
Not that I am complaining. I hate Hillbilly. Except when I am Hillbilly.

Maybe its because Hillbillies struggle to pip because of all the 1 shot down, 1 hook kills they get? They are all stuck in yellow ranks destroying all the newbies and getting black pips every game.

Likely playing Spirit or whomever the circle jerk has recently deemed OP. Similar thing happens with survivors; after Otz's recent video on the super efficient SWF group - every other idiot is running unbreakable and/or object.
It is just the flavor of the month - give it a few weeks to pass.

I see a huge amount of trappers in the red ranks (the archives lol) i have played only two billies over the double bp weekend, kinda sad :(. Haven't see a nurse yet since the update. Getting more ghostfaces and clowns then spirit actually

I'm rank 7 but you know when there is a rank 7 on your team and you say, "#########? How is this guy in purple ranks?". Well that's me. It's warm and snuggly in green ranks. I like it there.

On the other hand if I see you guys as a killer I'll switch to Billy for you xD I'm actually getting killer games nowadays so I'm ranking back up on ps4.

Cause he has a counter you can maliciously exploit, I'm not good at it but if done right can make his sprint be his downfall and lose you as quickly as he finds you

In a pallet loop, he can curve but this can be avoided by baiting it, hillbilly is heavily countered by looping, hence why low ranks think hes broken or better than spirit, they cant loop.

As I said I'm useless at it probably cause I'm doing it wrong but listen or at least find where he is coming from, and choose the right time to just do left or right in a sprint, forcing the stop and (urban evasion crouch preferred) move without sprinting to cover and use the fact he doesn't know your exact spot to your survival, watch where he is moving and react accordingly, and with SFW have someone spam the vault and hide somewhere before he arrives and now your free and your ally is non existent to him or if alone, just keep out of sight with crouch (hence urban evasion) if in a bad place it at least buys time if you fail, if in a good place you should get away, it works for me, UNLESS he has the add ons where he can turn super well with the rush, then you just need to stay close to windows and pallets as often as possible that's your only hope, from that point

I've run into a few people I know normally I dodge unless I run off to grab a drink instead and come back too late. I dodged @GrootDude last week when I was playing Spirit.
Normally its either I kill you first or let you escape depending on my mood.

The more and more indoor maps they introduce just makes his power more and more useless. Just isn't much fun to play in a lot of the maps that have come out recently. Might be something to do with it.

Just because this relates to me lately. I have literally only been playing Wraith and Pig for the past month or so.
I always play Adept Killer for the trophy before playing with other perks because I like to play the killer as designed by the Devs to see how they intended the killer to feel. After i did the Wraith I felt he was incredibly fun and have been playing him and Pig non stop lately.
Pig needs some QoL changes with her crouch speed being increased to same speed as GF and her addons being reworked. Maybe add an additional 3 seconds on the trap search bar and the removal of great skill checks. Removing the great skill checks would be exceptionally helpful and I feel stake out should still make them great skill checks.

Currently I'm testing a new hypothesis with the Pigs RBT. Since Pig is one killer I love ruin on because of it creating an additional Objective I've decided not to deploy RBT until it pops. After that I keep 2 RBT out at all times.
I also tend to leave people slugged if they were recently unhooked not because of DS, but because I don't like doing instant rehooks and the added pressure of a slugged person, ruin, and a RBT starts to complicate the match.
I've been using Ruin, Pop Goes the Weasel, Thrilling Tremors, and BBQ and Chili. I'm not a big fan of BBQ & Chili, but paired with Thrilling Tremors I will always know where people are gonna be regardless of Locker plays or not.

I'm still out here sawing em' down like usual.
Putting down The Nurse and have no plans on buying The Spirit. People don't give Billy enough credit. I find Billy both fun to play and play against. 8/10 times

i don't play my main hillbilly cause he is hyper lagged he is super bugged, the power bar has delay with 90 ping games.
