They won't buff it. They hate that MoM was meta. No hate tho, I really liked MoM it was a nice anti-tunnel perk.

I don't want to hate you, but this was tested in the ptb and it actually buffed MoM a lot (when the 3 hits was a thing). It needs a full rework imo.

Unhooks should count to be fair.
Half of your protection hits don't even count.

Original MoM was far from anti-tunnel, it was actually literally a perk that should've said. "Disables an M1 Killers ability to down you once per trial."

One time in kyf where i did dumb ######### the whole game to get my protection hits. It's really bad, but difficult to balance, because it's a second chance perk.

I would like it if MoM required 3 different events to activate.
1.) protection hit
1.) pallet stun
1.) safe unhook
I feel like that would be fair to both killer and survivor. Requiring 3 protection hits is the equivalent of deleting it from the game since it is so unusable.

Dunno about that. I think that DBD's definition of "protection" is pretty bad. Some actions like bodyblocking hits doesn't reward a stack like 80% of the time at least from my experience. They need serious fixing since the rules for getting a protection hit are really messy.

This is a good idea tbh seems balanced although they would have to put it back to only being able to earn it once per game.

I agree. I know some people complained that it was too easy. But taking a protection hit is inconsistent and a save unhook is not a "guaranted pip" because some other survivor could unhook. Besides, there was a lot of people complained that "what if a full SWF team comes with MoM?" there are only 8 saves per game, wich means only two people can activate it just by safe unhooks. And three at the most can activate it...
I had an idea. Why instead of protection hits and unhooking we do it just by safe unhooks? Then we guarantee that there won't be more than two MoM users per match.
Oh and something more
- Mettle of Man disables if all generators are powered and you're healthy.
We already have adrenaline and second wind. Actually the abuses happens a lot in the late game, between all generators powered and EGC.
Personally I think Adrenaline needs a rework or a nerf.

i wish people could stop saying "you can use it more than once" like i can't even get it to activate once when I purposly get protection hits for the whole game

You would need to massively increase the amount of tokens required to activate it, in that case. I would probably be able to activate it two or three times per game with all those conditions. Preventing two or three downs is absolutely game changing.
I would wait and see what the improved protection hit detection does first. If all goes well, it should be much easier to get your tokens.

The improved hit detection will help but I played a game where I didn't do gens or anything and just followed injured people. I still only got one use out of MOM
