Survivor perk, All Seeing Eye.

I was thinking for a while about perks that could be added into the game and one popped into my head that I felt like sharing.

It’s a survivor perk called “All Seeing Eye”,

“When you work on a totem, all survivors are able to see each others auras withing a 64 meter range from the totem, this effects lasts until the totem gets finished or the survivor stops working on the totem.

This effect has a 120/105/90 second cooldown.”

You could also make it that only the survivor that’s working on the totem is able to see the survivors auras, or maybe the killers aura inside of a certain range of the totem.

Why does it have a cooldown?

    Also why that massive cooldown?

Why does a perk that gives 12 (60 total if you do all totems yourself) seconds aura reading to every survivor have such a big cooldown? It sounds too situnational to be useful. First you have to find a totem, then you get 12 seconds where everyone can see each other within 64 meters. What if other people do totems? I could run Bond, get half the range, but unlimited aura reading instead.of 1 minute where everyone can see each other, in a game with that usually lasts 8 minutes. Even if I go out of my way to get totems then I'd have to wait a whole 90 seconds between cleansing totems before I can use the perk again. Also I'd have to fight with my teammates to get these totems.

It's an interesting idea for sure, but way too situnational, overshadowed by other perks and has a way too big cooldown.

It’s an interesting idea. You would need a cool down otherwise you wouldn’t have to break totems and you could just spam to find others

also, it’s okay for a perk to be situational. Not every new perk has to be meta

Wouldn't you just be able to use Bond at that point? Half range, all the time, from not specific location.

I mentioned the cooldown due to the fact that you’d just be able to spam totems, just release it before it breaks and get back on it again.

If you’re SWF it would be make it very hard on the killer in my opinion.

They're just revealing their aura to each other. How would that make SWF better?

Also that 1 survivor is being "kindred" for all other survivors, while not doing anything.

Let’s say they come up with a new map and this perk did get added, your friend gets chased by the killer and you hop on the totem because you don’t know the callouts yet, that way you could prepare a flashlight rescue.

but like i also mentioned, maybe it could reveal the killers aura within a certain range instead, with the cooldown ofcource.

Seeing the killer's aura seems like it actually is a more useful purpose. For killers who like to hump their totems, lets you tell when theyre coming back to it.
