So with Spirit nerf-change(wich i think it was needed) how about some swf nerf? my ideas
So as someone who play both sides but main killer, this is my opinion about the balance... Spirit is annoying to play against and not fun, Spirit stomps solo players, but it's fair against those tryhard swf... the problem is that not everybody play in swf( i play everytime solo as example) and not every swf is optimal.. so as we know Spirit is getting changed wich is fine.. so this is how i would nerf swf... what are the strongest survivors perk? If you play solo empathy, bond, alert, spine chill are amazing, but all these perks are pointless if you play with vocal chat, so everybody in swf run decisive, adrenaline, dh, bt etc... wich are the strongest one? decisive and adrenaline.. oh AdReNAliNE rEwardS YoU FOR DOInG GeNs!!.. as it was hard if you play optimal in common... and actually rewards the one who is getting chased.. about decisive it slows down your momentum if you get fast hooks, and if you go into a locker you get 1 minute of god mode, you can't even slug to counter the perk ..don't tell me to not tunnel, because everytime the ds guy wants my attention... we will get also map reworks wich will also help, but i don't think it will be enough.
so these are my ideas
*adrenaline passive heals you in 5 seconds and doesn't give you free sprint burst or free unbreakable..
*decisive if you hook another survivor rather than the last one you hooked, ds is cancelled, if you go into a locker it becomes temporarily unactive(makes sense no if you should stab the killer with something you find on the ground?)
i think these changes would slightly nerf swf, and would be pretty healthy for the game, and rahter than complain we will see more solo players running non meta perks, until they will become actually meta. Swf will still run those perks because they are still amazing.. what do you think?

Nerfing survivor perks nerfs all survivors, it won't only affect SWF

you cannot nerf SWF without harming solos. That's why i'm against nerfing killer (Except some unfair add-ons)
IMO devs need to buff solos to SWF level, and then buff all killers

SWFs can us Object of Obsession to gain just stupid amount of intel and when dealing with swf you cant just focus this guy when he is good at looping and teammates are helping him. OoO needs to be changed in my opinion.

I play exclusively SWF when I play survivor, we don't run meta perks, 3 of us run spinechill, I run bond and 1-4 of us run small game. I also run second wind, plunderer's, quick and quiet. Perks don't make SWF strong, information makes SWF strong. Solos should be given more information

Your ideas are nerfing Solos as well. This is like saying, because Old Nurse was so strong, Killers need to hook Survivors 4 times instead of 3 times. And then every weak Killer will become 100% unplayable.
You cannot call general Survivor Perks as Nerfs for SWF, when they also affect Solos.
The only thing that should be done is that Solos should be pushed to the same Level as 4 man SWFs and Killers balanced around this.

@mutabletiger4 well since you play with vocal chat i assume, you have enough information, i think the perks only help a little more.. but for solos these perks give huge amount of informations, to reduce the gap between solo and swf, i repeat, reduce, not cancel..

@Aven_Fallen we will get map reworks, wich means a lot more of pallet, but a lot unsafe, so this is the buff for weak killers.. adrenaline and decisive are not fine in their current states, if they are used by a strong team, this nerf would be good becuase is not huge, just fair, it also encourages more solos to run those underrated perks..

Cwf sweatry tryhards have a nice meatshield to protect themselves from getting nerfed called "solo survivors"
Cwf's only difference is the voicechat.... There are no mechanical differences ingame between "solo and cwf".
Cant nerf cwf without hurting solo and cant buff solo without boosting cwf.
Cant burn the potatofield to get rid of the toxic waste lol.

I do play with voice chat, by no means are we an optimal SWF either. 2 of us can loop decently well, the other 2 go down pretty fast. We get 4 man escapes and 4k'd.
But in your post, you say you want to nerf these perks to see solos run non-meta perks. Why should solos be forced into running other perks? Why can't they just be given more information at base, reducing the gap between solo and SWF, then buffing killers to compensate. Information is a powerful tool that the game is not balanced around. Why not start?

swf is far more op than spirit if played correctly still it isnt the issue right? lets nerf spirit to nurse level so no one plays her wonder what killer will be next to be nerfed to ground

@mutabletiger4 that's also an idea to give sruvivors some perks as base kit, like devs wanted to do with kindred, but still i don't think ds and adrenaline are fair right now

There's very few SWF that are near unbeatable, most are pretty tough at high ranks still. Nurse is still strong, despite the nerfs. Spirit is being "looked at" because she's overperforming, and people don't like playing against her. The last few patches have been good for killers

I personally think they're fine, I play mostly killer and rarely get hit with DS, and if I'm having a good match adrenaline rarely comes into play. When it does, I've already failed my objective
I wouldn't mind kindred base, at least the killer aura reading aspect of it

Limit perk slots depending on their party size. I think it makes balanced match.
Solo=4 slots, 2PT=3 slots, 3PT=2 slots, 4PT=1 slot

Perks don't give SWF the advantage they have though, which is information. This is just a punishment for people wanting to play with friends

If they really need to balance they have to nerf swf too with spirit shes the only threat against good swfs most of the roster can even be crushed by a mediocre swf team

You can't really nerf SWF, the problem with SWF isn't in-game mechanics. It's external voice communication

The funny thing is they like nerfing strong killers instead of trying to buff the weaker ones. And they also do nothing about SWF which can only be beaten by spirit. Nurse belongs to the past now

U can by basically limiting perk slots according to the players, like 2 man should have no penalty, 3 man has 1 less slot and 4man has 2 less slots

But this doesn't remove the advantage, this is just a punishment. Why not give solos more information, and buff killers to compensate, as was suggested somewhere else on this thread?

buffing solos and then buffing killers is so long process, devs are lazy af I dont see happening any of this in 3-4 years.Most of the killers just need some addons in their basekit they arent even willing to change them why would they buff solos then killers, so ez way is to just nerf spirit and nurse problem solved.

All stealth killers were buffed, addons are gonna be looked at for some of the older killers, maps are being fixed, the game is being balanced. Which means nurse and spirit are being balanced too

1) I would create separate queues for solos and swf or
2) An SWF icon is shown next to players that are SWF
3) Reduce gen speed according to the number of SWF members

Queue times will be worse if spirit gets nerfed anyway. And I don't think most groups play casually. For me at least, 80% of my games are against sweaty genrushers.

I've played 4- man SWF many times and most of the time it's ridiculously easy. The information you get is insane and time management as well. Most of the games ended with 3-4 man escapes. I feel like something should be done since they already nerfed strongest killer nurse and now spirit. There will be no killers to have any moderate threat to optimal SWF groups. I've noticed increased queque times and it will end up like in 2016 when SWF survivors simply couldn't find matches even they waited +45 minutes

You can't nerf swf without screwing over casuals and making them leave the game. The best the devs can do is buff solo to be more in line with swf and then re-balancing the core game.

As a solo only player, I've never taken off adrenaline because I'm super hopeful that if I'm in a chase with 1/2 gens left, my team can get them done. Even if not then when I get off the hook then they're done. Please don't nerf this one perk that I personally think is ok. This perk helps a lot of solo survivors out. DS I'm perfectly fine with removing from the freaking game. DS+headon combo is ######### annoying.

Nerfing swf isn't the way to go or really a viable option without damaging the game overall. What should be done is buffing solo survivors to be closer to swf and then all the killers to compensate.

You can't nerf SWF unless you somehow take away their voice coms, which is impossible. Any other attempt to nerf them will only hurt solo survivors. That means the only other option is to buff solo survivors so they have similar information to what SWF groups have. Survivors need to be on equal footing so that killers can be nerfed and buffed accordingly. Right now, killers really can't be balanced against survivors because survivors aren't even balanced amongst themselves.

If someone with DS is begging for attention IGNORE THEM or learn to count.
Go do something productive instead of camping the locker like a dog waiting for their owner to walk through the door.

To me, Solo should not be buffed to be equal to SWF, then buff Killers.
The key of this game is the lack of information between Sur & Kil. Currently Solo vs Killers is what the game should have, and should not be changed by giving more info for Solo. Because after all they still lack of com/cordination/true thinking about team mate
What I think is if there is SWF, Killer should have notification who are in SWF to let them have time setup meta build to go against the SWF, even giving 1 additional perk for each 1 Sur in SWF (5 perk if 2men SWF and 2Solo, 6 perk if 2menx2 SWF (or 3men SWF and 1Solo, 7 perk for full 4men SWF)
Killer should be buffed if there is SWF.

Just 2men SWF and 2 Solo already make a huge different. Image 1man SWF dies, then he can gather info from 2 Solo for his alive SWF mate to make right move.
Example 1Solo hooked, the dead SWF can tell alive SWF if the 2nd Solo is on gen or on secure, so that alive SWF should go secure or be on gen. Or eventually tell where the other 2 Solo so he can join on gen rush/finding totem/wait at the gate...
Killer deserve 7 perks for 4men SWF.

Spirit needs changes. She gives zero feedback.
Survive With Friends does not. Just get better at killing.
These changes also do not nerf SWF, they nerf Survivor perks in general.

Mechanical nerfs/handicaps applied to SWF parties will never happen so might as well save the energy and think of other things. Stuff like slower gens, less perks and so on are mechanical nerfs.
Stuff like SWF indicators, bonus points/easier pips, changing the baseline information of survivors in general to not screw solo players over with killer buffs and such actually have a non-zero chance of ever happening so they're much better ideas.
