Bloodpoint Grind MUST Be Alleviated
The bloodpoint grind is absolute insanity.
There are 19 playable survivors and 17 playable killers currently (as of Nov. 12, 2019). That is 57 survivor perks and 51 killer perks to reach for. Maxing a character takes about an estimated 1.6 MILLION bloodpoints, with all characters currently requiring around 57.6 MILLION bloodpoints. On average, players will earn between 10-25 thousand bloodpoints per game. That's about 64 games before maxing a single character. Having such a high requirement for bloodpoints (especially to newer players) is an extremely tedious grind.
Prestiging is even worse, as it's not worth 1.6 million (per prestige) bloodpoints for some bloody clothes.
An easy solution to this is to make Bloodhunt points gained the standard. Having new players intermediately face this intense grind is harmful to the overall health of the game and discourages newer players from advancing.

Unfortunately that would also make long-term players less likely to stick around, as they would max out easily. As nice as more BP would be, there is sadly some downsides to too much.

Yup, agree 100%; kinda wish they'd do a second Legacy, but they never will

Advancing on what? It's not supposed to be a 100 hours game, rushing it can be bad for yours learning curve.
I mean, less reasonable reasons to play.

But.. but.. the bloodpoint economy!
Ironically, long-term players wouldn't be affected by it since they'd already have a lot of things unlocked or maxed.

I'm not saying it's all bad, just thought I'd give an opposing view, a negative possibility or why it wouldn't happen. (I would like more bp, especially on the survivor side.)

They recently alleviated the long term grind a bit by introducing 4 perks (2 of which you can pick) per bloodweb at level 50. Doubling bloodpoints is not the smartest idea as this will lead into an abundance of high rarity add-ons and items that will throw off the little balance the game still has.

I'm not entirely sure that the reason long term players are sticking around is just to max out characters as opposed to just playing the game for fun.
That's about the only downside I can see. I'd say just make the items more rare since you'll be going through Bloodwebs at a faster rate.

I’m p3ing out of boredom at this point. The survivor point buff and extra perks per blood web helps, but it’s still hell starting out. My friend(new to the game) has minimal perks on a single character and is averaging like 5k bp(like I said very new to the game) poor thing :/ the grind when you’re new is REAL

That I won't deny.

They just reduced the grind by nearly half, its a long grind though, but if it wasnt I would have gotten bored 1000 hours ago.
