That right there is a blanket statement. I play SWF with people sometimes and we just have fun, we're not in it to win or make the killer have a miserable time. Dare I say we probably do worse because we're messing around.
That doesn't mean that those squads that sweat like they've been working out for four hours straight don't exist, but to say that literally every group is like that is silly.

Just having the game tell us who is SWF would be helpful
Knowing two of them can ''potentially'' be talking to each other gives the Killer info on what kind of strategies they need to implement in order to win.
Seeing Rank can do the same thing as if you see a 15 with a 4 and you're a 4 then you know who the weak link is and know that it's a SWF and that alone gives you information you need to win.

I put it in another, but this is another fair point of SWF.... Not all SWF are in voice chats. They are just in a SWF group so they know at least one of their teammates is actually competent in playing the game

As a killer main with around 1000 hours I have to say I don't really have a problem with survive with friends, either they meme the entire game and everyone has fun or they rush through gens and are out in 5 minutes. I don't see anything wrong with that, I just take the lose, say gg and go onto the next game. I feel like everyone is making the problem bigger than what it really is. Make your own fun, dont expect others to make it for you.

tl;dr I can't win without a massive brain-dead crutch so I'm going to demand that the game be fixed for me instead of learning how to play the game
If you think Spirit was the only Killer who could counter SWF you're out of your mind. If anything Spirit is countered a lot more by SWF than other top tiers like Hillbilly. If you want a really strong counter to SWF play Freddy (with Snares, not pallets) and learn how to properly apply pressure so you can be everywhere at once and have a power that the Survivors can't easily counter.
And I mean if all else fails you can just run a ton of anti-teamwork perks like Discordance and Make Your Choice, and play Killers that punish teamwork like Legion and Doctor.

I had a suggestion for this:
Add a ranked mode where survivors can't invite friends.
And have a second "casual" mode where they can.
This would make ranks mean something. Because if you are in red ranks on ranked mode that means your team will too so they wont be potatoes. Why= because ranking up solo is harder than with friends.
Some people say that this might split the community, so give 1.5x, 2x, 2.5x, etc. BP to compensate.
Also there could be daily stuff like "today casual gameplay has X% more BP" or stuff like that.
When players want to play with their friends they just hop into casual mode, if they want to be serious and try their skill they play ranked.
Killers who are trying lower tier killers can "train" on casual mode without having to worry about being rank 1 and using a killer theyre not familiar with and get destroyed by SWF.

If DBD, through EAC or any other method tried to block communication apps or any other legitimate application, they should be blacklisted by gamers and put out of business. End-of-discussion.
You have no idea what terrible precedent you are demanding.
How about BHVR does what every single other successful multiplayer game in the industry does, and balance their game around a team communicating. I know right, what a crazzzzzzy concept.

Performance wise SWF is the most unfair thing, it's usually a loss for the killer especially with the very unfair matchmaking. See SWF and they have 3 gens done before I even find someone.
However, almost all of the most toxic people I've run into were from SWF; but at the same time...some of the nicest folks were too....unfortunately it's usually the toxic ones.

Just some ideas that’d help for both the solos and the killer.
Killers get kinda hampered by balances needing to not be too op for solos (who get hampered harder) but be reasonable for SWF atm.
Why not just gives solos built in kindred and everything swf has, know each others perks/ranks... the whole lot... make items more selfish rather than giving bonus’s for use on teammates removing that (just add +50% more charges in place.)
Then just buff killer to that level. No sitting half way just going the full way 100%.

Totally agree, game should be divided in ranked and casual.Im main killer and rank 12 on survivor and you dont need comms to genrush as a SWF it's enought if the players play as team.

Pal if u play identity V you should know as well as me that the game is a camping simulator. That game is more unbalanced that this game 50 times and definetely nope that system will help to solo while not fixing the prob with SWF and even killers we will have to sweat to get 2 kills too.

I vote for decrease Gen speed according to how many survive with friends so 3,5% debuff for gen repairing if 4 players together 15% repair speed debuff and to fix dc problem with hatch if two survivors left and one dc it start the endgame and debuff open gate by 15%( meanwhile killer have a chance to find him too) so it will create the situation of Hey dc im on the gate already!

You don’t have to implement voice comm detection to introduce some forms of debuffs for swf.
you could do something very gradual, like basically non existent in brown ranks, very minor in green, moderate in purple, high in red - debuff applied personally and not to the whole group.
Also it’s not true that it is wrong per se to debuff (which is a different concept from punishment) friends playing together - just watch dark souls and how the mechanics change when you summon a player.

I don't think many people realize how impossible the "SWF" problem is.
Firstly, not all SWF are optimal, playing to win players. Maybe some of them are, and yes, those are a balance problem, but not all of them are. There is no way a blanket debuff to SWF will work when it would punish unwitting new players / casuals from playing the game. That would be unprofitable and un-fun.
Secondly, the idea of buffing solo survivors to the level of SWF is honestly ridiculous. There is enough content (perks, add-ons, etc) that derive their usefulness from being reliant on a solo survivor situation that it'd be massively embarassing, at least, for BHVR to actually rebalance. Can you imagine how the game would be balanced if something like OoO was the norm, or how worthless Kindred would be if SWF was what BHVR balanced around. They'd have to remove entire perks, which would mitigate the bloodweb grind. etc. etc. also, imagine how the balance of this game would fall apart if solo-survivors had the same information that SWF had. Imagine the WHINING. The game would need a huge rebalance, which leads to....
Thirdly, most, if not all killers would need to be buffed in order to compete with SWF. If Solo survivors are able to act on the same information as SWF, then most killers would need to receive buffs to compensate. This is not from a "tit for tat" mentality - many killer tactics rely on exploiting a survivor teams' incomplete information. Removing the confusion many survivors experience effectively buffs them to an unknown quality because they will be acting with much more accurate information - the effectiveness of certain perks go down, the effectiveness of trapping killers, large-scale map pressure, all of that becomes less effective when survivors have more information. Killer buffs are more controversial than even survivor buffs, so imagine the whining. It wouldn't happen.
The worst part is, if you don't do all three steps, you end up with a one-sided game no one wants to play, which would kill BHVR revenue and the game's playerbase. Even if this game heavily favors well-played survivors (which is does to any person who plays to win), it'd be so either impossible or unprofitable to fix the issue that there's barely a point in trying. Right now, BHVR is definitely dead-set on heaping enough material on the trashfire to keep it burning, instead of trying to put it out.

that spirit nerf wont do anything to people that know how to play her cause most spirit mains dont rely on collision anyway nor the broken addons.You shouldn't want to punish people that play with their friends either,it's not a right thing to do.

You don't need to detect who is in voice chat.
Just detect who is in SWF.
As you say before,voice chat didn't really matter to balance right?

You're never going to get a solid answer because there is literally no possible buff that killers can get to offset the potential information flow of SWF that would not result in the complete destruction of game balance.
Buffing stuff like Kindred is nice for solos, but it's still a band-aid fix that requires a perk slot.
There's a reason that the developers can never provide a concrete answer when this is asked - There isn't one and there will never be one. The sooner that you realize this, the sooner you can re-evaluate the way you view the game - it's forever casual.

Increase BP after game for killers, 25% for each SWF member, this would not affect gameplay, but make killer who play vs SWF more happy...

That actually is a pretty damn good idea. If you cannot balance, then at least make it less frustrating. I would be satisfied with that as a short term "solution". However buffing solo survivors to the level of SWF and then buffing Killers would be the way to go in the long term.

If you cannot control that, and you see it's ruining ballance in your game, you have two options:
1) Remove SWF as a mode, because this game wasn't made to be played with voice chat
2) Add voice chat to the game so randoms would use it as well. And then re-ballance game according to that change.
Or you can just ignore the problem as you always do because you don't give a ######### about anything but money, and swf premades love this game because it allows them to legally cheat and always have godlike advantage, so they spending money on cosmetics more often.

still you can at least give the killers the chance to know how many people are in coms. let the killers in the lobby dodge so they wont get more stress than they already get in their job. because in rank 1 they all sweat their asses and is not ok. there are easy tweaks can be done but lets be fair you dont even care about the killers community right? because they are way less than survivors playing the game.

BHVR said in the Reddit AMA their plan is to give solo survivors "access" to the same information as SWF and to balance killers around that. I think the upcoming change to Kindred shows that. I think eventually we'll see something like a reduction in the number of pallets or a boost to killer speeds. And maybe crazy like a cap on the number of times a survivor can be healed to full. Personally I'd like to see an additional, more skill based survivor objective added. Everyone can agree working on a gen is boring.

The only way to properly do it - is adding comms to the game.
I can't think of any other way around it. For example, swf can tell where the traps are. So how it's going to happen? All traps are highlighted? What's the purpose of them then? Or swf can tell the location of the killer. Will killer be always revealed if he is in sights of someone? I doubt they will do this kind of a change to the game. At this point they should just add that voice chat, and then see what will happen and adjust the game accordingly.
But cap on amount of heals would be cool. It's kinda stupid that you can take hit, heal at no cost, take hit, repeat...
