Nurse

Don't think the majority really feels like her base kit rework was justified enough.



I quote from McLean,


"The Nurse was very unpleasant for Survivors" thus the decision for the base recharge rework for her blinks.


There is plenty of UNPLEASANT things in the game like iridescent hatchets, and keys, but a perfectly balanced base kit in which provided high-risk high reward was what was deemed most "unpleasent" aside from Omegablink... ok


Now, due to the blink recharge mechanic, she is slightly too high-risk for the reward.


Her add ons deserved to be nerfed, I'm surprised Omegablink was in the game for that long.. but if you listened to the majority of feedback, you'd see most people did not approve of the base kit changes.


That's all, just here saying you guys should revert those changes. Playing Nurse feels so... the opposite of fluid. Just an opinion and feedback.

    I have to agree, The way nurse is currently just doesn't work like maybe the dev's intended. Now that might have to do with the fact that BHVR is terrible at taking feedback, but Nurse is a chance at proving the opposite.

    Anyway, the current form of the nurse does not work, and cannot work. She's too slow, therefore she gets looped, therefore she has to blink. But something else most seem to not realize is that Nurse is dependent on using her blinks to get around as well as chase.

    Now slap a cooldown on that, and anyone with an IQ of 60 or up can see the problem with that. Fatigue was already set in motion, but if they were so concerned about losing LOS, then Nurse should receive the same vignette the Legion suffers when fatigued. Morale of the story?, get rid of the cooldown on her blinking power altogether.

    Agreed, just wish BHVR could share their thoughts on her now after the patch release since there are so many threads like these

    Im a Legacy 3 Nurse and I liked to play her before the rework but right now I do not enjoy playing her since...

    • ...Dedicated servers lead to extremely weird hitboxes on nurse, random teleports after getting stuck for a seconde while in fatigue
    • ...she lost map control
    • ...she now has two cooldowns (the initial fatigue + the blink cooldown) but because of her slow movement speed she relies on the blink(s) to react to certain actions --> double fatigue after every single blink = even more time you cannot do anything
    • ...there is a high dependence on addons

    I really like that the devs worked on the addons, they needed a big rework (no omega blink, no 3+ blinks etc.). Touching the power of the nurse though....that was a bad idea. I still play her from time to time but she's absolutely no fun.
