Punishing DCS - a possible fairer solution

My proposal is quite simple. If a survivor disconnects during the match, they may not que again until the match they disconnected in is over. This will prevent players simply disconnecting as things are not going well, or the killer is Spirit or for some other reason and getting anew match right away.

The punishment is fair as it would show to the disconnecting player there is no time advantage to quitting the match.

In addition the player would not end up "banned" simply prevented from requeing due to desertion for the time the match takes to finish. Obviously if the entire team disconnected at once the match would be over... but I assume even a SWF team wouldn't be that selfish? Would they?

I think you’d need to have that plus something like a 25% penalty on all bloodpoints during their next match.
