Yeah, it means you havent completed the challenge yet and the challenge is on pause or you have accepted the challenge and changed to another challenge so it automatically paused. It actually says PRESS & HOLD TO ACCEPT CHALLENGE, when you have accepted the challenge you can chose to PRESS & HOLD TO PAUSE CHALLENGE.
