hope for PTB with 5 perk slots
134 perks in the Game. So much great and interesting builds are blocked bcs of 4 slots limit.
Devs, should we hope at least for PTB with 5 perk slots?

The game is balanced around using 4 perks, so unless they do a massive overhaul with the current perks they're not likely to change the amount you can use.

Incredibly hard skill checks with ruin that both can't be cleansed, and quickly scales to one shots and moris. That's the "great and interesting builds" 5 perk slots offer us.

Builds that should not be possible would be possible then, so as others said, they would need to balance around 5 perks then and tbh we all see how difficult it is to balance a game like dbd. so not gonna happen imo

Still say they should do it BLOPS 2 style.
Assign each perk a number value (i.e Hex Ruin: 5, Bloodhound 3, Third Seal 1, Monstrous Shrine 1.
Then let you select any amount of perks as long as the value doesn't exceed say 12.
So in the above example for 5 points you could either take Ruin or all of the other 3 perks!
Would open up so many different build possibilities.

Before anyone suggests it will be fine, I will provide 2 examples that will make people cry:
- Survivor = Borrowed Time, Decisive Strike, Adrenaline, Dead Hard, Object of Obsession
- Killer = Hex:Ruin, Pop Goes The Weasel, Thanatophobia, Dying Light, Barbecue & Chilli

That's a very pessimistic attitude. If the numbers are right people will probably bring 1 or 2 top tier perks and then some random stuff. Variety!

OoO is doodoo outside SWF, unless you're going for a solo Q last survivor escape build. Sub Unbreakabill for OoO and now you have the full sweaty build.
Killer looks amazing, especially with Forever Freddy add-ons. Enjoy the insta DCs, because the DC time-outs would be shorter than the actual match!
I'll add my broken combo as well: Sole Survivor/Distorsion, Iron Will, Calm Spirit, Q&Q, Dance with Me on P3 Claudette. Good luck to the Killer!

You can make way too many strong builds that make the game actually unfun
Freddy's Forever Freddy build would become worse
and survivors can recreate certain loadouts that wouldn't work anymore, these loadouts I am talking about can be really stupid

the game is only balanced for survivors and not killers, when Ruin can be taken out within 10seconds of the match starting that isnt balanced. u might be thinking thats the risk right??? thats one of the only things to slow an alrdy fast game down. Devour Hope is one thing but shouldnt be that way for ruin.

3rd seal doesn't really add to the build. So you can just take that out and run the build right now.
