Need answer from dev. STOP IGNORING.
How do you will explain all negative feedbacks after patch about Legion? You are ignoring all feedbacks/suggestion before patch, now you continue to ignore. Just curious.

I said about "totally ignoring Legion". Sure they will listen to other feedbacks, especially if this affect surv side.
So, you enjoy what they remove all on-hit FF synergies, just for faster movement/vault speed?

I honestly believe the devs don’t know how to fix legion. It’s a complicated kit and without a complete rework to legions power, meaning it doesn’t operate at all how it does now, there isn’t a way to change it without making them broken or even weaker. So basically, I don’t think they’re ignoring, I think they just simply don’t have an answer.
4 -
TBF the feedback on the tome challenges were on a much bigger scale than legion issues sadly so if the outcry isn't big enough i don't think they'll do much about it. Just my opinion...

If they just buff movement/vault speed without nerf DW/FF no one would COMPLAINING!
0 -
I guess survivor mains asked for vault, MoM, DS and pallet vacuum nerfs in masses then?

Its not just legion theres a vote for bringing back survivor ranks that has 110 upvotes. No response so far.

For long time people asking just for buff Legion. it's hard only to buff vault/movement speed without touching important things like on-hit effect?
0 -
That wouldn’t actually fix legion though. It wouldn’t make them more fun to play as/against and it wouldn’t really make them that much more viable. Would it help? Sure. But legion doesn’t need help, they need to be fundamentally fixed. They are a perfect example of a GREAT concept but poorly executed.

How bout we give it a bit more time... if they make changes to legion and then a month to 2 months down the line we learn the changes were a bit much we're in another pickle... let's play and see what comes how it pans out first.
4 -
Or people do not give a ######### about legion? I honestly do not know when i played against him for the last time and that is no wonder or miracle which is also shown by his low pickrate.
0 -
I just think they should consider the minority a bit more than what they seem to right now. There was alot of feedback on legion that went completely ignored with some genuine good ideas that would have made them both fun and effective.

Come on dude everyone knew that stuff was busted, don't give that logical fallacy.
6 -
We gave them time and look what happened legion got further nerfed.

We respond to as much as we can, but we aren't watching only the forums around the clock. Odds are if a post is disrespectful or outright insulting, it's not going to get a response. There's a fine line between constructive criticism and insults, and the latter is not how you have a conversation with another person.
As far as the basic attack change goes, it's the same as the Pig. It's to create consistency between powers so it's easier to understand what a basic attack is and what works with it. Previously, it was a bit of a mess. Something like Sloppy Butcher would work, but NOED would not. Both activated on basic attacks, but both were treated differently with Feral Frenzy. Not only is this less confusing for someone new to the game, but it also makes it much easier for us to balance.
As for mending, previously it was too easy to get stuck in an endless loop of mending (with mending times of up to 20 seconds). This left people mending most of the time which isn't exactly thrilling gameplay. There's no interaction between the killer and survivor there.
The movement speed, vault speed, and pin changes were all common requests.
Regardless, the changes have only been out for a little over a day at this point, so we'd like to see what kind of effect they have before making knee jerk reactions.
We've also commented on similar threads about that exact same thing- it's not coming back because people use it to dodge lobbies. It was never intended to come back.

2 months? How much time has passed till this "buff" patch?

Here is answer. Legion is buried with no RE.Legion not even an "A" tier, nerf on-hit effect was not necessary. After that, game can't be any good in future. Farewell.

No matter how busted they’re, they still got nerfed. If they only listened to a majority of exclusive survivor players then they wouldn’t have ever been nerfed.
Face the facts, they do listen to both sides.
6 -
I never said they didn't listen to both sides, I'm not doing that stupid argument. I'm saying even survivor mains know when something is unfair as needs to change. Just like when machine gun build was in the game and killers knew it was too powerful to keep in the game.
0 -
But I was responding to someone who said they only listen to survivors, I already know that stuff was busted.
2 -
Killers will still dodge if they see a flashlight or key most likely and im just avoiding swf in general rn because i dont trust them to not bring in a rank 20 when im a rank 7 isnt that kinda unfair for both sides since we basically get a dead weight as survivor and killer probably doesn't get to have as much fun since the rank 20 will get absolutely destroyed? You could at least make it so people have to be with someone within the same rank or at most a rank behind so if the host is purple they can only be with purple and green and purple and red green is with yellow and purple and ect.

How much time has passed?.... it's only been a day... whith every change comes a learning curve...
1 -
I never had a problem understanding his M1 and when I started playing Legion was new.
Also if you cared about new players at all you wouldn't have a matchmaker/ranking system that puts people who have played the game like for an hour total time ever against red ranks, don't tell me it doesn't I've literally just had it happen like just the other day, we were all rank 8 - 1 and got a rank 20 killer who could do NOTHING against us. Imagine his confusion he never even found a survivor until like 3 gens in, and never even managed a down. Even if it didn't, he could still get rank 15 people who have been red ranks like 50 times with like 2000 hours playtime.....
When I was new I quit the game a few times because of your matchmaker/ranking, I only stick with it now because once you learn the game and get decent at it that you are in the upper ranks, than most of your games are just fine....until that point it's a bloody nightmare.
1 -
The argument still doesn't work because what you stated, even survivor mains knew that type of stuff you said shouldn't be in the game. He is in the wrong for thinking survivor mains want all the advantages though.
0 -
Generally when people say “survivor main” they usually are saying people with survivor sided opinions from what I’ve noticed so that is why I used that argument. Not everyone felt that these things were busted, people on both sides seemed to be questioning the last fast vault change.
2 -
That right there would be a non sequitur. Just because one system is not so friendly to new players at the moment doesn't mean that we don't care about new players when we try to make something else more intuitive. What we're aiming to eliminate is the question of, "Does X work with Y?" Like the example given, why does Sloppy Butcher work with Frenzy while NOED does not? Both activate on basic attacks, so why are they different? Having each power work on a case by case basis would mean you'd either have to look it up or test it out for each killer.
11 -
Shall we do a count? The amount of killer to survivor nerfs are so unfunny in survivors favour that these nerf may as well never even existed
0 -
I really think that the people that didn't think that stuff was bad for the game are the minority and made the term survivor main negative term, streamers and content creators being ######### to killers didn't help either.

I'm sorry but this statement really begs the question of whether or not you guys play your own game. I'm really trying not to be disrespectful but it doesn't take a genius to figure out that Legion's ability, Feral Frenzy is one of the worst in the game in terms of performance and design. Right now, especially with the mending changes it has almost zero impact whatsoever. The buffs to it's movement speed and vaulting speed are nice for positioning, but they do not fix the overall problem that Feral Frenzy is an extremely low impact ability.
Knowing this, it doesn't make sense why you guys would nerf Legion, (I understand the basic attack change was for consistency but it is a nerf regardless) when they are already arguably the worst killer in the game. I'd rather you guys honestly do nothing to them like Leatherface than make honestly pointless changes for the sake of changing them, because what you guys are doing now is not addressing the problem.
The problem is that Feral Frenzy is a poorly designed ability. When it's powerful it creates a horrible, unfun experience for survivor players with almost zero counterplay, when it's weak, which it is right now, it has almost no impact on the game and is basically just a nuisance to survivors that they have to deal with. Neither scenario is enjoyed by ANY side of the game.
I literally created this account on the forums just because I could not believe that people were happy with where Legion is right now and I was correct, Legion is in an awful spot and they're only sinking further and further into the hole.
JUST REWORK LEGION
5 -
Did you just saying, Legion on-hit effect nerfed just because of NOED???
3 -
They literally just put the patch out yesterday, untwist your panties.
And while community feedback is important, the devs are the ones who decide what they will do with Legion, even if we disagree.
Personally, I think the Deep Wound status is the only thing that's ever been wrong with Legion because it isn't a threat at all. It is even less threatening than blindness.
3 -
Honestly, “killer main” and “survivor main” are commonly used as insults, even though being either just means you prefer a certain role.
3 -
I understand the need to standardize the game and make consistency but it clearly does make Legion weaker and limits what works on him. Is there any plans to adjust for that or are the changes we got the plan?
4 -
Yup, people think:
Killer main means a cry baby that always wants to 4k, tunnels, camps and wants no gens to be done ever.
Survivor main means a toxic person who tbags at every pallet and wants every advantage over the killer they can so 1v1 all game.
Really stupid definitions people come up with when those in no way represent the majority of these players.
3 -
NOED is just an example, it was a change made for consistency for new players. It would be confusing if frenzy worked with some things but not others.
4 -
Both your posts focused on NOED.
1 -
Agreed
3 -
Just saying though if we cant see eachother rank what am i supposed to do if we get absolutely destroyed and i see a 3 man swf brought in 2 rank 20s when im a rank 7 going on 6? Thats why i said put on a rank limit for swf. Itd probably be much worse if it was red ranks with rank 20s. (Which is possible you can literally put the best with the worst in a game).

Let's balance game around "new players", great idea.
1 -
I mean to be fair that part makes sense, I don't really disagree with peanitits about his points; it just urked me for a moment to see someone say they changed that of all things because of how a new player might see it; when it feels like there has never really been a concern for new players about the much bigger problems before.
2 -
Because of "balance around newbies" soon game will be unfun and easy, especially when all new players becomes experienced someday. Waiting for removing all instadown powers.
0 -
Having consistency with game mechanics makes sense man, I don't like it either but I do understand their reasoning for it. It;s like this thing works this way with every other killer but suddenly it's touch and go based on what perks for this one particular killer? That is a little odd, especially if new on hit perks start coming out.
It's not enough to make a game "unfun and easy".
and instadowns are not going anywhere, I just rolled around as myers one shotting people with the infinite tier 3 addon, if he and noed and things like that have not been removed at this point I doubt they ever will be.

On PlayStation there’s so many bugs and glitches that need to be fixed, like for example when I was in my blood web as survivor I went to buy an item with the blood points from a previous match, but then my screen turned red and all of those blood points just disappeared. That’s only one bug though, there’s so much that needs to be looked at ever since this new killer/survivor came out it’s like the more stuff they add creates more bugs. I think they should hold off on making new characters and maps for a bit and focus on fixing bugs.
1 -
So then why not give legion buffs that actually make up for it?
Like a reduced fatigue from 4 to 3, a reduced cooldown from 24 to 15, or let it be used at X amount of bar, or remove the thing that drops the power when you basic attack, or making it lethal in a way that has counterplay?
A slightly increased movement speed that doesn't hurt anyone making them need only 12 seconds to mend and a vault buff isn't gonna make for it. And his power basically has no sinergy with almost any perk.
Why isn't the consistency based around power hits too? Making a good description to ensure that the legion's attacks don't apply exposed. I'm not talking just for legion, but for all killers in general.
6 -
I am no game developer, rather, I am an aspiring mechanical engineer. When we see a catastrophic problem, we don't ignore it. If we want to wait and see how it pans out, we immediately start working on a solution to fix it, even if we want to observe.
Legion has a badly designed power, that much is clear. You need to focus on finding a fix for that.
5 -
You act like all of those weren't insanely broken/unfair xD
2 -
The Legion's FF stab is NOT the same as the Pig's dash attack. Why? Because the Legion's FF cannot down a survivor, where the Pig's dash can. That's a fine trade for the lack of perks working with the M2 attack, because at least it could down a survivor and was worth more. FF does nothing.
2 -
He isn't saying that. All he's saying is that those nerfs were objectively disadvantageous to survivors, and definitely weren't requested by survivors en masse, but the devs went through with them anyway because they were broken and unfair - thus disproving the idea that the devs "don't care" about feedback unless it's coming from survivor mains.
0 -
No I’m not, my post doesn’t say they weren’t either, the point is that a lot of people said they were fine but the devs listened to those who felt changes were needed (rightfully).
0 -
The on-hit change was made for non-balance reasons. If it creates a problem then you should be asking for more counterbalancing changes, not for a revert.
Non-balance issues aren't negated just because of something being at the proper strength.
