Deliverance
Why doesn't it grant the player the right to unhook yourself even when you are the last survivor and you haven't been hooked the entire game ?
Why are you doomed ? Wouldn't it be nice to have a key and/or a perk useful when the doors are activated ?

Because the killer would just stand beside you, till you used it. Then hit you down and probably slug for 60 seconds.

You insta die on hook as a lone survivor just to get the game over with, otherwise there would be hundreds of salty players waiting on hook for the full 120 seconds just to spite the killer. I'm pretty sure you used to be able to sit there the whole time and that is exactly what people did.
Also as Milo said, if you're the last guy the killer is just going to stand there and wait. What else is there to do. It would create a very boring interaction that the game doesn't need.

Nah, Insta-death on hook for final survivor should not be a thing. As killer, it would give me time to find the hatch and break pallets/kick gens for points. And it would give the survivor struggle points. I always thought it was stupid of them for adding the insta death.
There is potentially plenty to do while the final survivor is struggling.
I doubt the killer will face camp every single time. A survivor should be able to use deliverance if they’re the last person left. And they should be able to struggle. It’s actually unfair to them. A lot of killers benefit from that extra time.
They used to kill themselves to spite the killer. They still do if you hook the final two at the same time so you can’t find hatch/break pallets/kick gens/use your power to gain extra BP.
Again. The option should be there and I never felt inconvenienced by it as killer.
And it gives the final survivor at least a final chance to escape. And if nothing else, struggle points with the option to just stop struggling.

Eh I break pallets in chase so they can't get used again unless it's a completely unsafe one
I can get more points by getting into another match faster rather than waiting for last survivor to die on hook

Tell me, if i want a 4K and i know the survivor has a chance to unhook, would i just leave the hook?
Also as Soshidow said it was introduced because survivors could waste 2 minutes if they wanted.
