Well hopefully the devs see this and realize that a lot of survivors (and im a killer main but i play survivor)want it back and people will lobby dodge anyway (i do as killer with swf and now ill have to as survivor). After all this is the most upvotes and people ive seen for something to be reverted like holy crap 150 people on the forums upvoted this. This doesnt put solos on survivors level this actually gives swf a advantage because they know eachothers skills.

I loved being able to see the ranks and prestige levels. It gives you a "general" idea of what you can expect out of your team mates or to know if the wonderful matchmaking has yet again paired you up with some players numerous ranks below or above your own rank.
If there is one low rank person, I'm not gonna dodge, but if I'm rank 5 and I'm in a non-SWF lobby of rank 17-15, for my sanity and the sake of the killer, I'm dodging. The killer is not gonna have fun chasing me and I'm not going to be happy with my team mates who are new and clueless.
It allows me the ability to do the job that matchmaking obviously can't.
With current super slow lobby times, you get to the point you won't dodge just because you are super tired of waiting to get a game.

Well it's their fault for making it possible for brand new players to be able to que up with red ranks. It's like they are trying to kill the game. If I was solo surviving and kept getting red rank killers when I first started I would prolly quit the game.

Which is why i said if they do keep it gone they need to fix swf so they can only be one rank before or after the current rank of the host so purples get greens and reds greens get purple and yellow.

It's not the matchmaking in those cases, it is a swf group. The game can't stop a rank 20 from teaming up with a rank 1.

Negative. Ranks 17-20 can be in any lobby. The devs did it that way so new people wouldn't have to wait. Have queued up with a friend, we were both rank 1 and we got 2 rank 18 teammates. The game was terrible because we got a red rank killer..

When I found out it was a “bug” that was getting fix I actually rolled my eyes. This was so useful for solo players. Of all they game breaking bugs THIS gets patched out.. >:(

Exactly what i used dodging to avoid apparently its a bad thing to actually want people of my skill level not people thatll die to the killer instantly whats the point of the matchmaker supposedly trying to keep you with people of the same rank but doesnt.

Wait, it was a bug? Never knew. I actually thought it was an intended feature that they chose to just take out for whatever reason. But I sign this. I liked the "bug"

Theyd rather people DC mid match when the super low survivor isnt pulling his weight or helping.
Makes sense to me.

That has my vote too. The game is unfun if you have zero control over who your teammates are. Some of us are fine with carrying low ranks, but some of us would like to play with and against people close to our own ranks. I don't get how this has become so demonized within this community.

So they can't even balance the ranking system? If they're going to remove us being able to see other survivors' ranks, then we DESERVE a 100% chance of being paired with people in our ranks. How the hell is someone who just came from playing mainstream games like COD or Halo supposed to stay alive against a rank 5 killer and work with red rank survivors? This isn't even an issue of "red rank arrogance", it's just common sense. Either let us see ranks, or actually put us in lobbies with our fellow ranks. I'm all about making new friends and teaching, but I'm not gonna invite some random rank 20 to a party, try to teach them the plethora of strategies while I'm in a melancholy mood while we're going up against a viable rank 5 killer. Some days I just want to play solo and get paired with similar skilled players, not beginners who practically run towards the killer in chases and run across the map every single time they hear the heart beat.

exactly like some games i wonder why we get absolutely destroyed and i see a swf brought in like a rank 20 and rank 19 and i had no idea so those 2 get absolutely destroyed then me and the guy who brought them in cant complete like 3 gens so we get destroyed as well and thats deemed "alright"? I didnt ask to get two rank 20s but swf are allowed to bring in anyone they want except of putting a rank limit so they cant. And its not like its just hurting the guy who brings them in i get dragged down as well. so annoying.

This is why I agree that this "Bug" should return as a feature. I don't want to play with player at those rank's because it is unfun to play.Solo Survivor shouldn't be that one who has to suffer because Dev's didn't want lobby dodge.They should find another solution.

don't know if anyone else has said this, but for PC players why not just post your own rank and level in the lobby chat? R1 L50 P3 or whatever. I'd like the visible rank and level to come back too, but there is no reason on PC we can't just share the information

I don't remember anyone ever complaining about survivors dodging lobbies before the devs mentioned it. I really miss this feature and want it back.
Also hide survivor names from the killer please till after the game ends

I agree with everyone, PLEASE bring this back.
The times i play solo, i shouldn't be forced to deal with bs like this below: The Rank 14 would Self Care whenever injured against a Sloppy/Thana Ghostface before sitting on a gen. We did manage to finish the gens because me and someone else were the only ones who didn't go down in 10 seconds. Someone was hooked and the gate was open, i wanted her to heal me but she refused and just went for the save alone without BT, got 1 shot and i was like "######### this, i'm out". Golden Feng btw... not relevant but i dislike seeing players like these wearing those cosmetics, unlock requirements other than codes would have been nice.

I never had a problem with lobby dodging when it was active, it barely affected anything. So I don't care either way myself.
What I do care about is how long it takes to find a game to begin with, you did this because of lobby dodging but nothing about these abysmal queue times? How does that make sense.

Lobby dodging directly affects queue times, people on this forum are saying that they dodge when they see low ranks so naturally they are removing that feature.

I want this back so I know if I'm getting miserable teammates that I have to save alot (can change my build to help em.) I never dodge lobbies.
So it's somewhat 50/50 can be abused can be helpful.

Lol. I can't even. They have a bug that people love so they "fix" it. I mean, I get why they did. They're afraid people will (or they somehow know people were) using the information to dodge. But how is that different from a killer who dodges cosmetics, a "toxic" name/cosmetics, or too many toolboxes? I just don't understand how one is acceptable to them. While the other isn't.

Well then they need to fix matchmaking. Having rank 15-20 getting in the same lobby as red ranks is silly.

The only way they could totally stop it is by not allowing low ranks to team up with high ranks which would be fine with me. I don't think it is a matchmaking problem every time, I think it is usually swf

It should be unless is a full survive with friends that they cant que into a lobby with another survivor or the killer that is more than 6 ranks away from their rank.. just like the supposed killer matchmaking rule.

I think the rank/character level is shown in kyf isn't it? It's entirely possible that it bugged to show in public matches.

Bump, just got deranked by being matched up with rank 20's and a face camping killer when I was red ranks before rank reset.
