Can someone make a full list of killer nerfs compared with survivor nerfs?

Would someone please mind doing a list of all killer and survivor nerfs since the game launched?

I would love to see something that could prove how long this game came

And to prove who has more nerfs over all

I would be surprised if survivors don't have more nerfs as they have only gotten weaker since release.

Okayy you are right, I wanted to see it more as in terms of how metas changed , for example how saboteur was meta back then but stopped when it got nerfed

Placing the "number" of nerfs on each side is meaningless and doesn't make sense at all.

Some nerfs are much more severe than others.

What's the conclusion you're looking for?

I would rather see the game's development than some number

That's true, but I don't think anyone would disagree that overall survivors have been made weaker and killers made stronger over the last 3+ years.

Where the disagreements comes in is to what degree it's gone to change balance.

I also don't think anyone who actually played 3+ years ago would disagree that survivors were completely and utterly broken and needed a large bring down. Back then you had literal infinite's and sprint bursts that could go off multiple times a chase.

What would be the point? A killer nerf list is obviously going to be bigger because every killer nerf can be listed individually whereas all survivors are basically the same person.

Obviously outdated but this thread from 2017 appears to have been updated until june 2019. I liked this list. Especially all the salty survivors not reading the disclaimer.

Read the disclaimer. Read the disclaimer.

    READ THE DISCLAIMER.

"Survivors started way overpowered and despite numerous nerfs can still compete with toptier killers."

EDIT: you might want to check the patchnotes section on the wiki. While its not seperated into killer/survivor, i guess its quite accurate

The biggest issue with the divide from players (aside from survivor vs killer) is the fact that DBD has no definitive identity for what a "win" is.

To some the competitive nature of ranking up/getting a pip is their idea of winning and what they wish to see the game balanced around.

For others its getting 3/4 kills as killer or escaping as a survivor (I fall more into this category myself) and wish to see game balance reflect this.

Without a definitive identity to point where BHVR wants the game to go it splits these types of players up by default simply because each envisions a different game. While we can still be civil towards one another I do not see a middle ground that can appease both as casual/hardcore players cannot co-exist in one game-mode.

If the game had no ranking (at least not visible) and didn't score you based on different categories then it would clearly define kills/escapes as the "goal" to reach a win. However seeing your performance reviewed after a match makes it feel like you need to meet those point goals to win.

Which is it I need to aim for? I feel great getting a 4k but then I see "Entity displeased" after the match and I am confused/brought down. I only get 1-2 kills in a game but then see I got a pip and "Entity pleased" so I think I did ok?

What is BHVRs intended direction to take away as a win and what direction do they wish to push balance? There is no wrong answer as its your game and even a "hardcore" player can enjoy a more casual style if they know that's what the game is aiming for.

PS: I typed this up in a hurry on my lunch at work so my apologies if I missed a spelling error or my thought process didn't mesh well with my wording, little time to double check my work.

Megawaffle has it right, and pips should reflect this.

killer win = more than two kills or more than 6 hooks (past halfway point)

survivor win is getting out alive

It’s that simple and rank should be based on that.

Throw in some rules to cover dc’s/Mori’s/etc.
