Blood Warden needs a nerf.
Nothing is more annoying and frustrating than a killer using Blood Warden at the end of a match. The perk obviously existed before the endgame collapse and needs a Nerf because the endgame timer is still going when it blocks the exit gates which prevents the survivors from escaping. I had a killer not make a sacrifice or hook an entire match and because the killer ran Blood Warden and No on escapes death he got the one hook and everyone was screwed. My suggestion is that the gate timer is paused when Blood Warden goes into effect. That would be the fairest way to balance it out.

Can't you play around Blood Warden by just 99ing the Exit Gate and making sure as many people are able to get out as possible before topping it off and opening it?

No once the exit gates are powered and a person is hooked it activated. The killer waited until the gates were powered then hooked the survivor.

Blood Warden actives when you hook someone while the Gates are open, not powered. Just don't open the Gate until you are actually ready to leave.

I'll tell you the best nerf for blood warden. It's called "99%".

If you opened the gate then that would mean you had your chance to escape. So nah.

The fact that you haven't learned to 99% as a survivor is pretty telling.
I am pretty much against 99ing the gates myself as a survivor as I feel that the EGC should start the moment the gens are powered, but BW is literally the most counterable endgame perk the killer has. It is litlerally dependent on one of the exit gates. Your *escape route* to be open before it activates.

I never see that perk except when someone is doing adept freddy. Ask yourself why

BW is one of the worst Endgame perks because, as previously stated, it is dependent on one of the gates opening before it can be triggered.
Even then it's not triggered for long.
If you want BW to be nerfed so badly, look at yourself for a second and tell yourself this:
"I need to get good"

And rude players such as yourself is what makes this game toxic. I'm almost to the point of where I don't enjoy the game anymore and will move on to another game. I'm a high rank survivor btw so I know what I'm doing. Yes let's buff every killer but nerf everyone that's a survivor. SMH.

Leave the gate percentage at 99% instead of opening it, then only open it when you really need to.

Oh yeah sure, it's totally not because you're wrong or anything like that. In fact every single person in this forum is a diehard killer man that always use noed and bloodwarden because they are so incredibily op and uncounterable. Besides you of course, the last bastion of survivor main in this forum, which means you are the only sane person here, the only one capable of being objective and the only one completely incapable of being wrong.

He's not being rude, he's just pointing out a flaw in your argument. You shouldn't confuse opposition with rudeness - or assume that just because people are disagreeing, they must be trying to defend their own actions.
For what it's worth, I'm a heavy survivor main, and I also believe that Blood Warden is good where it is. It's very easy to counter, and the timer is less than half the length of the EGC timer, so I don't think that part is an issue either.

Eh, I wasn't trying to be rude just pointing out a flaw in your logic about how "The only people who disagree with me are the ones who use bloodwarden". If that makes me toxic that's fine by me even though in my opinion I am nowhere near being toxic. But that's besides the point, "I'm a high rank survivor btw so I know what I'm doing." Rank does not give you any credibility. I'm a red ranked survivor and killer as well so yeah. "Yes let's buff every killer but nerf everyone that's a survivor. " Okay I don't even know what we are talking about now since when did I state a notion in this thread that survivors should be nerfed?

Blood Warden punishes lingering survivors
When mixed with EGC, it punishes survivors who decided to linger for too long
All this perk does is punish survivors who risked too much, why would it need nerfed when its the survivors fault for letting it happen

Ive only run into it twice as a survivor, but I definitely use that perk as a killer. One of my favs, plenty ways to avoid it
