We already have dc punishments right?To prevent hook suicides make struggle automatic.

Yeah, and while on it, make it that survivors can't run towards a killer unless Dead Hard is equipped, block the unhook action with killers around and add cooldown to crouch and flashlight usage.
You can't prevent survivors from playing anti team. At least one reason to keep manual struggle is that survivors can choose to give hatch to someone else. Don't change game mechanics to fix personal playstyle. It ruins more than it might possibly fix.

I agree with this. Spamming a key adds nothing to gameplay but annoyance. This is one of those aspects that surprises me the most for how long it's been in the game and how little does for it. At least press-n-hold, even if not more fun, is less annoying. I understand it's called "struggle phase", but it's novelty wears out in the first 5 games. Not to mention the mechanic is so finicky that skipping a single beat instantly kills you. At this point, it's just an encouragement to rebind to mouse wheel down if you have infinite scroll, or make a macro.

Ok then, enjoy depipping as survivor cuz of stupid teammates who go down in 5 seconds and kill themselfs on hook after.If you and some other guy are the last ones in the trial you can have the option to die and give the other guy the hatch or be greedy and stay for all the bonus struggle points.

@grayon444 What you wanna do about them? If you put them on struggle mandatory, they will just rush to the killer or make noise to get out of the game. You will depip anyway, making struggle automatic doesn't change it.
And depip is something not relevant for me. You also depip if the killer performs bad and there are no benevolent points to get. You also depip if you are in a chase and your mates don't manage to go for the unhook in time. Auto struggle doesn't fix anything

Pipping works when you do objectives, evade the killer and do good in chases.Yes, some parts are tied to teammates but not all of them.And some killers will know they are making noise on purpose the survivor will be ignored and left for some time later in the trial.Now they have nothing left to do so they will do the objective.

I feel like everyone wants this change. I think every survivor has had a time where they were mashing the button and your game freezes or hiccups and you've killed yourself and lost your team the game. As it stands right now, it's just the cause of auto wins for killer.

Are you serious? You think if survivors that previously DC'd and selfsacrificed will now do gens when you take their "ez" escapes? They'd rather DC again and eat the timeout, that's my guess.
@konchok The holddown option would be fine, but I wouldn't remove the "option" to do so. Despite the option to give a mate the hatch, I also wouldn't like to have to wait one more minute when I'm the last one hooked.

Struggle and wiggle are now skill-less and not fun at all. Stressful for fingers and gamepads/keybords.

If they dc too much they get time penalty.This would help out a little to clear those ######### who don't want to take it and play the game.

@grayon444 yes, still think that most of them just rush towards the killer to get out of the game. And still the opinion that auto struggle will not be a positive QoL change at all, more of a nerf regarding the situations where it makes sense to stop struggling

All for this, they just need to make it so we hold the button down instead of mash it. My X button on my PS4 remote broke because of this. Had to switch to square button now. ):

I get killed all the time because ??? while struggling. I'm pressing spacebar and BAM, I'm dead for no apparent reason.
The struggle phase is BS. Get rid of the rapid key press nonsense.

Yeah be it just hold down the button or auto. It would be better than spamming the button, which is the current system. You don't press the space bar fast enough, dead, lag, dead. I feel like i might end up wearing out my space bar everytime i play survivor and have to smash that space bar. Would make the game alot more relaxing, without having to worry about breaking my keyboard.
