trappers cripple them all
i have completed all 3 tomes including all the trapper stuff and i have spent a long time trying to get the trap in a single game ones but something that is bugging me is that i know more than 50 survivors have stepped on my traps but the achievement cripple them all only shows 19

the achievement itself actually has a super misleading description. In fact, the thing that advances your progress for it is when you pick the trapped survivor up out of the bear trap. If they escape or you smack them out, the achievement does not increment. Getting the same survivor twice does count so long as you keep picking them up out of the traps.

The wording of the two is very subtly different: the Tome challenge is "catch a survivor in a bear trap X times" while the achievement is "catch a total of 100 survivors in bear traps".
I'm guessing this means that while the Tome challenges count progress in terms of total number of traps, the achievement only counts individual survivors. So if you caught one survivor in a trap ten times during a match, as far as the achievement is concerned it would only count as one.

ayy, same. It may be pointless in the end, but damn if it isn’t just a small moment of satisfaction seeing that bar filled every time I boot up the game...
