Killer blocked the stairs and went afk

image.png

There should be something done to fix this issue. He literally went afk and there was no way out the second floor.

The map was Farmhouse01, Coldwind farm - the thompson house.

Please at least ensure there is an alternate way out from the second floor.

Classic, this place is known exactly for that. It's considered to be a second basement, but with "old" stairs that don't let you through, and there's no other way around it. Funny that it's still that way though it was reported a countless times. Easier to force people to report offenders, right?

Seems like an easy fix, just remove one of the 2 railings.

Also survivor can do similar things. One game 2 guys just decide to be hide from me for over 30 min. I would like a solution to that problem to. For the thompson house coldwin I suggest a hole on the flor/railings. The map is too unbalanced yet, dont make it even worst for killers by adding god windows please.

yeah reported after I left the game. But something should be done to fix this, hopefully maybe at least 1 of the suggestions above gets implemented.

Nice to see Survivors getting a taste of their own medicine.

I think it should still be a strong spot. It can get in a Hit quite easily and Trapper can completely block this, and I dont think that this is that problematic (the Hook itself there should be removed or moved to a different place, because this is in fact like another Basement Hook).

I would rather let the Killer lose Collision when afk for 2 minutes.

Removing the hook would make that place safer than the harvesters. That was why it was added in the first place.

But the other suggestion would be fine.

I see 2 survivors blocked and 3 alive, as well as the gates powered. Could the missing survivor open the gates and start EGC? While I personally don't think it's behavior that should be encouraged it's technically not taking the game hostage if that was a possibility, as there was a game for the game to end.

If all 3 are blocked up there it's no questions asked reportable though as there's no way for the match to end besides all survivors or the killer disconnecting.

Did you report him IN game? In game report and screen shot are strong evidence. After game report is not so strong

This place would not be safe at all. Upstairs is nothing to work with, except one, not even good, Window.

Moving the Hook downstairs would still make a Hook easily possible when the Basement was not spawning there, but would not create a fifths Basement Hook.

The original problem was that a killer couldnt get a downed survivor to the hook in time without agitation or iron grasp. That problem would resurface, so I disagree that removing that hook would do any good.

They could make a change to the railings around the stairs, such as a vault or something... but survival rates on coldwind maps are already much higher than other maps, so I see this as a non-issue.

I thought they implemented a change (back at the inception of Endgame) that prevented killers from being able to bodyblock, as their collision box would become smaller.
