Is Nightmare toxic?
I'll keep this short. I just played a game where I was The Nightmare and the first 5 seconds the whole team disconnected and messeged me that I'm trash. Am I playing a Toxic killer or something, my main is Legion and I get no complaints when I play him.

No, he is a good killer, if played well he can shut down loops, and thats why they don't enjoy him.

Well, he's not toxic, there are ways to counter him and all, and if you dont play Forever Freddy I don't see why it would be toxic to play him
He's strong, that's all (maybe a bit too much)
tho if I were you I wouldn't trust an extremely obvious team of SWFs to tell you which killer is toxic, basically they decided they didnt like to play against Nightmare and decided to insult you for playing him. (I think between a Freddy and a whole team insulting a killer right after disconnected all four, the survivors are the most toxic ones)

He is very strong which isn't a bad thing. Sadly some survivors aren't happy unless they're going against a trapper that can't use traps properly. Strong killers intimidate them and they blame their failures on the killers strengths and not their personal weaknesses. DC penalties can't come soon enough.

Freddy he is one of the better killers and he isnt the only killer that has been put on the "DC on sight" list.

People who only play survivor will talk bullsh*t anytime they don't win and anytime they don't verse a trash killer because they think they are entitled to easy games and 3 minute 5 gen matches.

Forever Freddy was a huge mistake, but I dont see that much of them anyway. It's like Insidious Camping Bubba, everyone think of them when they see a Cannibal, while actually, not that much of them do that.

Thats true you dont see Forever Freddy that much, especially these days, and even then its not what it used to be. Unfortunately Freddy got stuck with that title and at least for the near future there are people sore about it.
Cant do anything but wait it out, hope DC penalties do their thing, and take solace in the fact that most people dont DC on Freddy.

Characters aren't toxic, only players. Likely they were a swf group. I doubt you would have seen that (all 4 leaving) with randoms. Don't worry about it. If you like him, play him. I know that I don't mind playing against him.

Is playing a certain character toxic? Of course not! He's just strong and some survivors aren't mentally prepared enough for that.

He's not toxic, but it could be argued he should obtain somewhat of a nerf because of how easy it is to play him well.

theres a difference between looping a pallet and just bloodlusting it with no risk

Freddy does lose bloodlust when placing down a snare though. Also you can get to a loop where a killer it forced to break a pallet or get a stun to make them lose bloodlust so there are options. Besides they are taking a risk, if they decide to not leave you then gens will be flying and it’s their fault.

Neither Killer is toxic. Freddy is also not OP in any means. But highly boring to play against in my opinion, because he is kinda braindead. Pallets are braindead by themselves, the Sleep Mechanic is kinda meh (either you go into Sleep automatically or when you get hit, making waking up for chases not really worth it (but overall it is worth it, for the teleport)) and with his Snares he is basically "reverse-bloodlusting" instead of just breaking a Pallet.
But thats just my opinion.

Its also the fact that stacking slowdown add-ons and perks is what every Freddy seems to run. I play Freddy with mostly chase and tracking perks like BBQ, whispers, Nurse's and the brown slowdown add-on, and games go at a decent pace if the survivors are aggressive with gens and play it properly. Not many people seem to mind that kind of playstyle with him (but I will agree that he is still disgustingly good for the amount of effort required to play him)

The difference is that one gains time for your side and the other loses time for your side
Don't be asleep and his snares won't harm you
If you are asleep drop the pallets early
Adjust your playstyle for the killer you face
Freddy is strong but not nearly overbearing as long as you play well against him

Forever freddy I wouldn't say is toxic, just annoying. Also, people saying that placing snares around loops to catch up to people doesn't take skill, news flash: neither does running basically a really good loop or pseudo infinite loops. It's a good way to shut down loops that take way too long and you either give up so you wasted your time or you move onto another person who can just run over to the next best loop.

no, playing freddy isnt toxic, hell playing any killer/offering/item/add on isn’t inherently toxic either. if its in the game its fair play.
my guess is that a lot of people just dont find Freddy fun to go against, which i can understand why because he’s basically just clown on steroids.

It's probably people who still have PTSD from Forever Freddy being spammed every time they saw someone using him before the nerfs because it was so strong. Not excusing them, but that's likely the case.
I'll have to say that's down to personal experience imo. I've seen a lot of Bubbas camping and most have since I've played. That said there are some who don't, but most from my experience do.

Yeah and for some reason you pAsSIvEly go to sleep anyway for no reason which wastes time having to run back and forth around the map just to get back to what you were doing.
Not only that but we have those surreal hits from him which should always be based of of the killer's weapon not any others which also puT'S yOu tO sLEep. Even Fredrick looks surprised sometimes when his hand knives hit a survivor.

Freddy is just boring to play against, esp with anares which just are the most unskilled way to get in hits after Spirits pseudo-phasing. Also with slowdowns its just getting annoying.
